Hailing from the depths of eastern Germany, Cyan85 has emerged from this industrialised and cold environment with a sound that radiates pure dance energy. Using a variety of vintage-synths and drum machines, he creates a bouncy and energetic machine-funk that stands as a modern take on that classic Detroit style. His production process is one of improvisation at its core, which might help to explain his great versatility in music making, ranging from dreamy downtempo pieces to in-your-face bangers. This mix is a tour-de-force of ghetto-tech and electro, demonstrating that Cyan85 knows how to light the booth on fire.
