behind closed doors is an instrumental audio visual metal band. our first self titled album features 7 songs available as a cd/dvd digipack. 
recording and drum programming were done in late 2009, mixing and visual post production in early 2010.

behind closed doors is an instrumental metal-trio (git, bass, drums). The band consists of three thoroughbred musicians: Christoph Teuschel (git), Fred Jacobsson (b) and Matthias Landes 
(dr).
After the first few measures of a behind closed doors song, the listener realizes quickly that this is not a standard metal song from a standard metal band. Conventional harmonies as
well as rhythmical structures are torn down and rearranged in different clusters and fashions so that as a listener one is constantly challenged and stimulated. Polyrhythmic guitar riffs, complementary rhythms and odd-time passages are not an end to themselves but serve the song. 
Every song is accompanied by a rhythmically synchronized video. Visuals are in the foreground of each show! Hence, behind closed doors is probably more a performance than a classic metal concert.
