Am 24.10. waren wir wieder live auf Sendung – diesmal aufgrund der großen Halloweensause am 31.10. bereits eine Woche früher.

Unser Gast Mokult ist ein echter Lokalmatador: Mit seiner Veranstaltungsreihe Kosmonautenklang im Weidenauer Vortex sorgt er gemeinsam mit seiner Crew seit Jahren für volle Tanzflächen und holt regelmäßig Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus Siegen und Umgebung an die Decks. Außerdem ist Moritz – so sein bürgerlicher Name – Mitorganisator des jährlich stattfindenden Willer Watz Open Air.
Mit energiegeladenen Sets, die Einflüsse von House bis Techno vereinen, ist er längst ein fester Bestandteil des Siegener Nachtlebens.

Gehostet wird die Show von Timstel, der natürlich wieder einige Veranstaltungstipps für euch im Gepäck hat. Für Matt Venture, der krankheitsbedingt pausieren muss, springt diesmal unser dee2-Resident Zonker ein.

Here it is - the recording from my debut at HÖR Berlin last week!💚 Thank you so much for the lovely messages & comments!🥰
I tried to fix the third channel mixer issues as best as possible here, so hopefully the stereo listening experience should be much better now :)

I put A LOT of work, thought & heart into this set - spending weeks on the storytelling and selection of tracks, thinking about the movie quotes, references & soundtracks I would include and agonizing over the dark cinematic atmosphere I wanted to create - a journey to immerse oneself, to rage up and to fight demons.

Starting off with this gorgeous score from Tenet, I went deep diving into my favourite hypnotic & driving techno tunes, while playing around with orchestral elements, subtle trance melodies and salty ear candy. In the end I just had to finish this set in full on Prodigy battle mode (with some Sucker Punch flavours), remembering 17-year-old-fan-girl-Soph joining way too brutal moshpits at the sickest concert she ever been to.

However my present nervous perfectionist-self is quite happy with this mix - enjoy it 💃
