Eine Party nimmt dich mit auf Ihrem magischen Teppich und fliegt mit dir durch Raum und Zeit. Sie lässt dich deine Schatten hinterfragen, überkommen und ermutigt dich zum nächsten Tanzschritt. Eine Party heißt dich in Ihren sanften Armen willkommen um dir im nächsten Moment eiskalte Ekstase den Rücken runterlaufen zu lassen, in deinen Beinen breitet sich ein elektrisierendes Gefühl aus dem du nicht widerstehen willst – du willst tanzen, loslassen, frei sein!

Diese verzockte Reise durfte ich letztes Jahr bei Re-Opening des Gestrandet Berlin aufnehmen. Nicht mehr lange bis LTMD dort wieder die Pforten öffnet und wir zusammen unsere nackten Füße in den warmen Spreesand graben dürfen während uns irgendein verrückter Bassbotaniker Bretterbeats um die Beine bebt.

What is actually a party, bear? 

A party takes you onto its magical carpet and flies with you through time and space. It makes you question your shadows, makes you overcome them and makes you form your next dance steps. A party welcomes you in its soft arms only to let cold ecstasy run down your back, when an electrical feeling is set loose in your legs that you don’t want to resist – you want to dance, let it go, be free! 

A party is you, me, us.

I was blessed to play this journey at last year's “Gestrandet Berlin” Re-Opening. Not long until LTMD is opening the gates once again. Not long, until we can burry our naked feet into the warm sand of the Spree while some crazy beatbotanist is blowing bonkers beats around your bazzaz.

Steve Sibra is no newcomer to the French electronic music scene. Active since 1999, he has already released several albums and around forty EPs. 
Originally from Paris but now based in Montpellier in the south of France, Steve is a radio man. For many years, he hosted Laboratoire Sonore on Montpellier 91 FM, where he welcomed the cream of international artists to his show. 

Steve joined the Brique Rouge team in 2022 and, in just a few releases, has risen to become one of the core artists shaping the label's sound. He brings his inimitable touch of melancholic deep techno and melodic, cinematic soft house, sometimes infusing it with a strong electro influence and a few experimental touches. The quality of his productions having won over everyone who listened to them, it was only natural to (finally) offer an album that allows listeners to enter Steve's dancefloor universe.  

And what an album! With 21 tracks, it's more than an adventure, it's a huge sonic trip that draws you in from the very first track and takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, vibrations, and sensations that doesn't let go until the very last track. It's a coherent universe, where every note is weighed for a minimalist approach to a melodious groove. 

Sometimes leaning towards “sunset music,” sometimes towards a slightly darker melancholy, Telepath Voodoo leaves no one indifferent, and each listen brings its own set of details and surprises.  So listen to it loud, listen to it on headphones, listen to it while dancing or meditating, but let yourself be carried away on this long journey that Steve Sibra offers you.  Undoubtedly one of the most important French House and Electronic artists of the moment.

Created in 1999 by David Duriez, the independent French label Brique Rouge continues to promote the electronic sound that David has always believed in and defended. Far from the formatting and excessive vulgarity of the current electronic scene, the label promotes an eclectic electronic sound that remains rooted in the underground and, above all, in a clubbing vibe.  In general, the artists on the team are given carte blanche, and it is above all the spirit that counts. The label does not seek success; it is a success. The success of being able to release music without compromise. With one release per week on platforms since 2020, the label (and its divisions RZ Muzik & Obliqu3) is seen as a key player in the French underground electronic scene due to its activism.
