My name is Ayumi, born and raised in Japan. I've been living in the US for the past 18 years. I've been through many musical phases in my life from Rock to Hip Hop to electronic music. DUBBISM #046 - Ayumi

This mix is a selection of progressive house / tech house (and trance?) from the late 90s and early 00s. The sounds are a variety of the styles I was playing around that time. Some songs included here were recorded from vinyl, some are from CDs that came directly from the artists, while others are tunes I was able to source digitally over the past few decades. All the edits included in the mix are me taking some artistic liberty with the tracks to give them a different feel and make them more suited to fitting in here. 

It's not a perfect mix (far from it), but I'm mostly satisfied with the way it coalesced into something coherent and is a nice look back to my favorite time in the history of the progressive house sound. Enjoy.

PS - There will most likely be a part two to this mix, because there are so many good tracks from that era I wanted to get into this mix, but just didn't seem to fit here.
