ft. the Belgian ‘Red Devils’ Score with ‘Melody’, the official UEFA 2016 anthem

In October, Belgium's national ‘Red Devils’ earned a place at the 2016 UEFA European Championship in France. After the match at the King Baudouin Stadium, the world's best DJs, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike performed a sensational DJ set. 

And as it turns out, that was only a taste of things to come. Because the Belgian DJ-duo also composed the official Euro 2016 anthem, ‘Melody’.  At the request of the Red Devils and the Royal Belgian Football Association, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike got busy in the studio to create the Belgian Euro 2016 anthem. But they weren't alone. They were joined by international top DJs Steve Aoki and Ummet Ozcan. The result is ‘Melody’. It's a strong anthem that will inspire our Red Devils to perform at their best in France. 

The video clip was created by director Adil El Arbi. You may have spotted him recently around Antwerp, where he filmed a part of the clip. It promises to be a film with an urban look and feel.  And a sorely needed dose of positive energy for us Belgians.

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike give their take on Bassjacker’s infamous ‘F*CK’

Bassjackers are no stranger to creating dancefloor anthems themselves such as “Bring That Beat”, “Marco Polo”, “Rough” and many more. The bouncy bass, glitchy beat and stop-start synth give the track a jacking feel and provide the groove, but it is the cheeky vocal that sets the track apart. The lyrics, from DJ Yoeri’s original ‘Fuck On Cocaine’, released in the midst of rave in 2001, are a throwback to the hedonistic reputation of dance music in years gone by. The growling bassline combines well with the vocal in the breakdown to set an ominous tone, which is switched up later in the track, with an epic ensemble of melodies and harmonies in the latter part creating a memorable contrast. The pounding kick that is introduced in the drop establishes the track as a peak-time, no-frills club banger that is sure to set fire to dancefloors across the world.
Bassjackers are a one-of-a-kind DJ-duo, who have made an enormous rise to the top these last years. The numerous collaborations with other artists and even remixes for A-list artists only confirm their status as dancefloor masters.

O Bonde da Stronda é um grupo de jovens Mc's, formado pelos Mc's Thug (Diego Raphael) e Stronda ( Leonardo Schulz ), que contam a realidade que vivem no seu dia-a-dia, expressando seus sentimentos através de suas músicas. 

Tudo começou em Novembro de 2006 com algumas gravações no computador que até então foram elogiadas apenas por amigos, fazendo com que os garotos começassem a levar isso a sério.

Temas como mulheres, diversão, “noitadas”, namoros são o principal assunto cantado
pelos dois jovens.Por fim, a pedido de muitos, decidiram gravar suas músicas de forma mais profissional para seguirem carreira num mundo já habitado pelos bem sucedidos Mc's Fox e Mãe que foram os criadores do estilo “Stronda Music”.

A divulgação do grupo até hoje ocorre praticamente 100% pela internet, que foi o meio pelo qual o sucesso veio à tona.  Hoje o sucesso tomou proporções inimagináveis e a cada dia se superam atingindo um público cada vez mais variado e distante de Cidade onde tudo começou.

No início, os dois jovens adolescentes colocavam batidas de rappers americanos, adaptando suas letras expressivas e excitantes formando o estilo " Stronda Music " , mas hoje, possuem batidas e estilo próprios.

As músicas que mais se destacam no grupo são hits como "Nossa Química" ,"XXT", "Mansão Thug Stronda" , “Playsson Raiz” e “Tic Tic Nervoso” que  é uma regravação e está na trilha da novela MALHAÇÃO ID na Rede Globo.

A música que mais se destacou e abalou estruturas de várias casas noturnas  e matinês foi “Nossa Química” , que hoje é uma das músicas mais tocadas nas Rádios do Brasil todo.Sua antiga versão possui mais de 5 milhões de visualizações no youtube. 
Os dados não param por aí a comunidade do Orkut já passou dos 150 mil membros e o recente videoclipe “Mansão Thug Stronda” com participação de Mr.Catra tem mais de 1 milhão de visualizações em menos de 1 mês de lançamento.

Em Agosto de 2009 lançaram seu CD Nova Era da Stronda , pela gravadora Galerão Records e alcançaram a marca de 80 mil downloads.

O Bonde da Stronda já passou por vários lugares consagrados como Citibank Hall no maior evento jovem do Rio de Janeiro, pelas matinês mais bombadas de todos os tempos, eventos bombásticos como "Pepsi Rio Festival" ,  entre outros.
