JVN, born and living in Kassel, belongs to a new generation of local techno artists representing the idea of modern, contemporary techno, in an area which is still deeply attached to the Stammheim era. Besides running several event formats successfully over the last years, his latest outcome is a series called obscene, which features advanced techno with a clear vision of sound and design. 
Striving for variability, JVN finds his taste in a broad spectrum of techno ranging from minimalistic groove driven material to a more hypnotizing approach as well as raw and pounding loop-techno.

Being in the scene for several years, he is resident at Dublin’s subject events series that are regularly taking place at the two best venues in town District 8 and Index.
When it comes to productions he is well known for his releases on labels like Fiedel’s Fiedeltwo or philippe petite's Knotweed Records.
His powerful yet hypnotic sound is characterized by groovy drum patterns and repetitive synth lines. Enjoy!

Nicolas fascination for music stretches back far into his childhood. Inspired by the dirty rawness of old school techno and the hypnotic vibes of more contemporary tracks, Nicolas Vogler decided to pursue his newfound passion by DJing at small events in his hometown. Today, he is a producer, gaining renown through his own personal label NCLS as well as through recent releases on groove-focused techno labels such as Syxt Berlin, Drawner records, Malör Records, ESP Collective, Hemisferio Barcelona and Secession. Played by techno DJs worldwide, Nicolas’ tracks can be found in mixes by notable artists such as Setaoc Mass, Ben Sims, Arkan, Norman Nodge, Insolate, Temudo, and many others.

Berlin based and immersed into the queer techno scene for years, Radical Softness’s project name comes from the movement with the same name, which advocates the open disclosure of all forms of emotions, whether positive or negative. She is similarly activist and expresses it with her music. Her driving sets combine rhythmic tracks at high BPMs, uplifting, fast paced, tribal and raw punchy oldschool rhythms.

November will see !Organism call upon Portugal’s Cardao for three thrilling techno cuts and Andre Kronert for a fine remix that will make up their 115th release. 

Cardao has been busy in the scene for ten years and takes big inspiration from greats like Carl Craig and Jeff Mills and many other Detroit heroes. His style is powerful and raw, cerebral as well as physical, and to date he has proven this with releases on labels like Monocline Records, 91Records and E2Points.

The stellar ‘Heart Cosmonaut’ is up first and over seven minutes really creates a brilliantly spacey vibe with its spooky and rippling melodies, supple drum lines and elongated grooves. Full of atmosphere and cinematism it’s a great opener. ‘Cosmic Galaxy’ continues in the intergalactic techno vain with eerie and spacious, deep and heady grooves that are economical and hugely effective. 

The remix comes from ODD EVEN boss Andre Kronert who is a synonym for powerful and high-octane club sounds as both a DJ and producer. The likes of Len Faki often reach for his work and for good reason, because it is brilliantly loopy and involving. This remix is no different and builds in creepy little layers to a widescreen techno groove direct from outer space. 

Last of all, ‘Haunted Synthesizer’ has a loopy lead synth line that rocks back and forth on its heels as distant pulses and static electricity sounds colour a paddy techno drum line. Weightless and expertly sci-fi, it’s pure musical storytelling. 

This is one of the more heady and considered EPs !Organism has released lately and marks another high point for the tireless label.
