Hospital Records heavyweight and all-round drum & bass champion Logistics is back with a fresh six-track EP that’s home to an array of sonic selections. Following his most recent EP series and remixes with the likes of salute, Fred V and DRS & Dynamite, his latest ‘Love Letters’ EP sees him delve back into the classic Hospital Records sound that he is so widely loved for, with a 2022 twist.

EP title-track ‘Love Letters’ brings out Logistics’ soulful side as lo-fi inspired chimes and a new-wave R&B style vocal cut entices you into a world of soothing sonics, juxtaposed by an electrifyingly resonant bassline.

‘Vega’ injects pure euphoria as the classic sounds of Logistics step up to the forefront. Rolling drums, organ-style synths and uplifting vocals see the decades of Logistics’ experience effortlessly translate into yet another drum & bass anthem.

‘Continuation’ steps down in tempo, with skippy drum beats, and a solemn feel throughout. Further showcasing his versatile taste and production style, this is everything you’d expect and more from a 130 BPM Logistics cut.

Sincere liquid drum & bass ballad ‘Secret Satellite’ (feat. Zoë Phillips), opens with emotive pianos and heartfelt vocal toplines which pave their way towards splashy amens and a beautifully crafted bassline. This is Logistics at his finest...

‘Nightingale’ (feat. Frank H Carter III) sees another switch up in style with half-time drum patterns and clear influence from the realms of electronica and techno. Expect elevating vocals and warming bass glides as Logistics continues to musically leave no stone unturned.

Stepping the pace back up for the final track of the EP, ‘Pleasure’ is a certified dancefloor damager home to drums packed with punch, throbbing bass hits and addictive synth lines. Taking you down an avenue into the more classic sounds of Logistics with a new age twist, this one is something special.

Without a doubt one of the most prolific artists within drum & bass, Logistics is the name behind dance music anthems such as ‘Together’, ‘Waveforms’, ‘Wanderlust’, and ‘Transporter’ to name a few. He’s received endless support from airwave tastemakers including Annie Mac, Rene LaVice and Mary Anne Hobbs.
