This second installment of the 12th season of Canela En Surco is a mix by one of our current favorite house DJs, the Berlin-based Mandel, and our label boss Breixo Martínez, playing garage house, deep NYC, proto-tech-house and 4x4 UKG records b2b for two hours.

Breixo met Mandy at Discos Paradiso through mutual friend Paul Marele (one of the two guys behind Subwax Distribution). It was love at first sight because of the shared obsession with records. After getting to know him better, Breixo felt kinship with Mandy's worldview and political ideas. A lovely soul, Mandy is one of those people you feel sad not to live in the same city as.

Fortunately he does come to Barcelona every now and then, so when that happens we have to take advantage and have him over to our HQ to show his incredible finds. This mix was recorded during his last visit this past June.

We miss you Mandel!! May the groove always be with you!!
