The resulting track is refreshingly different, a unique perspective on UK rap that never loses its pace nor potency.

LUXE, a sister duo originally from Los Angeles, spin and produce an eclectic mix of music, ranging from West Coast Anthems to 808 infused synth maximalism. The upcoming pair have now moved to London, playing out shows & producing music befitting to their L.A culture mixed with a UK influence. This release also sees Cesqeaux make a return to Trapdoor after a busy year of touring including recently working with Tropkillaz and fellow Dutch artists Yellow Claw.

Trapdoor & Hillydilly present this week's 3am series courtesy of Daktyl with a sensuous remix of Aquilo's 'You There'.  
The London based artist has been busy of late, launching his new group alias "Shiloh" earlier this month but also finding time to drop releases as Daktyl on DieHigh records, Mad Decent & Run The Trap. Keeping up the consistent work rate, it's no surprise that he's currently on a U.S tour playing in San Francisco, L.A & more. 
The track itself plays out as an elegant composition, finely balancing  vocals with a mellowing backdrop of production. 'You there' acts as a perfect follow up in the 3am series & reminds us there is a lot we haven't heard from the uprising talent named Daktyl.

Aquilo - You There (Daktyl Remix)

Around this time last year we released an early creation from the emerging talent Andru titled ‘You Are’, a stirring & almost euphoric original production. Since then, the Montreal based producer has built himself an independent identity for consistent quality with varying style. This is especially true for the Bells EP, a high calibre two track release with enough drum smacks & catchy leads to induce appreciative head nodding.
