Included here are a batch of 1, 2, and 4-beat factory programmed percussion loops from the BOSS Dr. Rhythm DR-5. The last 45 seconds includes about 20 one-shots with full decay. I will also be uploading the .AIFF to my blog, which includes marker points of each extracted loop for further editing and sampling.

These were run through my Mackie 1402-VLZ mixer straight into my computer.

Elecsonic is a group of forward-thinking producers who host an event once a month at the Phoenix Landing (in Cambridge, MA). One of their members, Quam, shared with me a juke-and-bass track he just finished working on for streaming. It's a perfect combination of soul pads, dancehall overtones, and a vocal riff so infectious by the end of the track you will know it well, and think about it all the time! These samples were recorded straight into my computer from my 1998 Boss DR5 Rhythm Composer. The following kits are included: TR-808, Electro, Power, Latin, 70s, Funk, and an other/miscellaneous samples comprise the non-generic bits from all the other kits. No effects or filters applied, it's just the dry 24 bit signal.
