Atelier Mécanique is a project born in Berlin in the beginning of 2013, it started as a radio program hosted by "INeedRadio", a web radio based in Grunau, in the early outskirt of Berlin. That place was the old hub for the DDR radio in the 30's 40's. Atelier was working as staff of Grunau, playing as radio dj and djing at its parties. Behind this name there is Michele, after the "Berlin School" he started to produce music by himself, generally Techno and Electronic.

The project is characterized by being a publication of 6 new songs to celebrate the first year of the "Bear Beat Records." The tracks are composed by the three authors that were most representative of the music label in the first year of life. The artists involved are "Bear Beat Technique", "Killer Knut" and "D.in.Ge.cc.O." 
Each of these artists has produced two new tracks, with the intention to develop a set of songs that, taken together, constitute a homogeneous musical discourse, representative of genres and trends, published this year by the "Bear Beat Records."

"STROBE" Strobe is the first piece of this EP, which gives us perhaps the most eclectic and complex artist who has been published in this year, the "Bear Beat Records." We're talking about D.In.Ge.Cc.O. After the success of his LP Y.S.I.L.F.U. engages in her first new unreleased track. One reason obsessive atmosphere that reminds us of other times and at the same time a soundtrack of a video game breaks and immediately wins the listener. Then the song, which uses a complex rhythm with drum machines and analog, transports us into a fantastic world of sounds to be discovered. And ' if you like but Africa was represented with a look toward the sky, toward the moon or, even better was observed from space, from the moon. Evocative sounds of "strings" , tribal rhythms and catchy bass gives way to a purely rhythmic African beat witch is mixed by the house beat , is filled with the sounds of jungle animals and immerses us in this amazing journey in the ancient continent , making us dance and dream at the same time . The violence of the jungle, the contrast between the  tribal tambourine and sounds of nature finds its similarities with the rites that maybe you consume in a nightclub. It almost seems that , after all, every rite of music and rhythm, originates from this fascinating continent .

Bear Beat Records was created in Italy in 2013 from passion for all music and sounds from around the world but in particular for electronic music and Italian Disco.
The purpose of this label is to recreate an experimental laboratory in which different musical cultures can meet and contaminate each other. The common thread is the love for Electronic music and especially for Digital music. 
Here at Bear Beat Records, we think that this kind of music needs to rediscover itself and to see its past, feel its present and search its future.
So both “pure” electronic music and works for which electronic is just a mere contamination can be published from our label.
Today, when we speak about the evolution of electronic music, a large space is now occupied by dance music. The grooves this label is looking for could also be found in that realm. The focus is not the perfection of the sounds or the execution, but the groove itself: the ability to communicate emotions, to evoke atmospheres. 
Even sounds that have been recorded in rough conditions, “dirty”, can find an importance if there is a groove and a certain personality.
The great influence of disco music from 70s and 80s is only the starting point from which to discover those very special atmosphere, evocative of a muffled happiness.
Similarly, the dark anxiety of certain sounds from the 90s, like the restlessness of a pounding heavy beat (typical of Techno or Dark House), is one of the great feelings we look for.
For all these reasons, this label is open to any type of work that wants to discover new ways through electronic music. 
We are convinced that, thanks to the possibilities to create art that technology gives us now, the coming to light of new artist work is within the reach of all. Self expression of artistic talent has become a popular thing. And this is a good thing.
This label comes from the presumption that the music of our time is that: electronic and beat. The minimalist style of new electronic music is linked to the beats and the sounds of synthesizers - while at the same time open to any musical influence beyond time and space. Live in peace!
