"When This Is Over" is one of those songs that instantly felt special as soon as it came into being. One of the things I got fairly obsessed with while writing songs for the new album was searching for interesting combinations of instruments, and contrast between electronic and ‘real life’ sounds. I feel like this song is the perfect example, because the first half is so sparse and electronic, then the whole track turns on its head with children singing, guitars, organs and flutes playing and psychedelic sounds whizzing past your ears. -Dan
