Der junge DJ und Produzent The Reason Y zählt aktuell zu den aufstrebendsten Künstlern der Hauptstadt. Nicht nur durch seine erfolgreiche Partyreihe „Try Land“ die regelmäßig im renommierten Club Watergate stattfindet, ist er in aller Munde. Auch mit seinen zahlreichen Releases auf bekannten Labels wie Monika Kruses Terminal M oder Pan-Pots Second State setzt er regelmäßig neue Maßstäbe. Bereits in seiner Kindheit spielte die Musik in seinem familiären Umfeld immer ein tragende Rolle, also war es nur eine Frage der Zeit bis er vor fast 15 Jahren selbst den Weg hinter die Decks fand. Inzwischen bespielte er regelmäßig die großen Events und Festivals weltweit, wie z.B. in Kürze auf dem Rave on Snow oder im legendären Womb Club in Tokio. 

Um so mehr freuen wir uns, dass der umtriebige Berliner Zeit für einen neuen Podcast für Jeden Tag ein Set gefunden hat. Viel Spaß mit seinem 60 minütigem Set!

Lately did enthusiasts of emotional and driving techno wonder how such a new youngster was destroying the dance floor. No matter if it was at Sonnemondsternefestival or Katermukke Label Nights 2017 and 2018 in Hamburg as well as Cologne. Every time it has been a so and emotionally outstanding, that checking the line up was an obligatory move to make. And then it always said: LEVT.
You can already tell, that he is one of the most uprising stars of his generation. But no wonder, since the young DJ and producer grew up surrounded by electronic music. Early inspirational influences have been Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers. These were followed by the music universe of Katermukke. Since he has been 16 years old he spent every free second at the turntables to refine his sound.
Still on the side there was high school to be finished and juniors A-league football not to be neglected. But it turned out his heart is beating with and for the music so there was no other option than throwing himself into producing his own music. The result is his first EP “The Beast”, which is released on Voltage Records. As the name already announces does it present his sheer powerful and furious side. In addition does a Remix by Felix Kröcher underline the
promising nature of his productions. With this EP does LEVT already start to fight against the thinking, that the youth is only dedicated to rap and techno got a recruitment problem. Since this could be the beginning of something big.

Die beiden sympathischen DJs aus Würzburg stehen für energiegeladene Sets mit einem Augenzwinkern – immer tanzbar, immer mit Gefühl. In den letzten Jahren haben BEARD die regionale Techhouse-Szene ordentlich aufgemischt: Mit ihrem einzigartig melodischen Sound zwischen House und Techno spielten sie von lokalen Events bis auf großen Bühnen wie auf dem Klangtherapie Festival (2016 & 2017).

Bookings in Clubs wie der Rakete Nürnberg, dem Airport Würzburg, Haus 33, Wilde Hilde Coburg, der Lola Hof oder beim Schattenpiraten Bootscruise zeigen: BEARD sind längst über die Grenzen Unterfrankens hinaus bekannt - und machen Bambule, wo immer sie auftauchen.
