Bear'lin Station Podcast 034 | UNCONFORMIST (UCR)

Ryuji Takeuchi (Local Sound Network / LSN, HueHelix) was born in Osaka, and
then first contacted with Electronic Music in the early 90s.

In the late 90s, he moved to the United States, where he discovered Techno,
House and Electro Music.

As soon as he got back, he started to DJ at several locations and eventually
learned to produce at the same time. After that, he released on such labels
as: LK Rec, Arms, Mastertraxx, FK Rec, SWR, Innervate, I.CNTRL, Impact
Mechanics, Silent Steps, GSR, Brood Audio, to name but a few.

In 2011, Ryuji started his own imprint called 'Local Sound Network / LSN' as
a platform for new generation of electronic sound which following words can
appropriately describe: driving,hypnotic, atmospheric, emotional, groovy,
funky... and any other aspects that rock from brain to the dance floor under
the following statement:

From local to global...

It exists in order to inspire the world...

Also, Ryuji kicked off another brand new label called 'HueHelix / HHX' as a
new platform, which discloses something new,only represented by HueHelix,
together with Go Hiyama, Tomohiko Sagae and Kazuya Kawakami, in order to
push quality music with global standard from where sun rises.

In 2012, Ryuji launched 'Local Sound Network Digital Solutions / LSNDS'
series in need of discovering and introducing wider range of electronic
music, aiming at dropping unique audio output while itfs hot. Music style
varies. All top quality output from new and established producers all over
the world with its bottom line as follows:

A fan of electronic music for many years, the young Geneva-based dj al dente decided to get behind the decks after moving to Berlin three years ago, before returning to Switzerland. Since then, al dente has carved out a place for herself on the Geneva underground scene, offering sets with raws and hypnotic sounds that will sweep you off your feet and make your whole body vibrate. With appearances at clubs in Switzerland and Geneva such as Zoo and Motel Campo, as well as the Void Club in Berlin and the famous Geneva events Antigel Festival and Zbeul Festival, she shows her savoir-faire behind the decks and knows how to keep the energy up while surprising you with unexpected twists.

Jeune talent de la scène Techno valaisanne, Ricciø est un des artistes locaux les plus prometteur de sa génération. On a pu le découvrir l’année dernière dans des sets allant de la Techno Groove à Hardgroove. On reconnaît sa patte dans sa sélection de track et sa technicité.

Perfectionniste, travailleur, rapide, il sait s’adapter et se réinvente à chaque performance. Il est également à la source du collectif Zapoï connus pour leurs évènements hors du commun.

Young talent of the Valais Techno scene, Ricciø is one of the most promising local artists of his generation. Last year, we could discover him in sets ranging from Techno Groove to Hardgroove. You can recognize his touch in his track selection and technicality.

Perfectionist, hard-working and fast, he knows how to adapt and reinvent himself for each performance. He is also at the origin of the collectif Zapoï collective, renowned for their outstanding events.

Native of Amsterdam, Kyoso started his career in the woods with the Boy Scouts based in the Dutch capital, where he lived for a long time. Since then, the collective has migrated from the forests to the Ruigoord church, a club on the outskirts of Amsterdam.

After shaking all the stained glass windows, he moved to Berlin where he plays regularly.

Philippe Petit is originally from Brussels, Belgium, where he started DJing in the early nineties. After spending 15 years in London, he moved to Chamonix, France, in 2010 where he started two vinyl labels: Knotweed Records and Decision Making Theory (DMT). He has a string of techno releases on his own labels, as well as on Involve, Figure SPC, EartoGround etc.

He has played at Tresor, Suicide Circus, La Graviere, Batofar, Weetamix, Corsica Studios, and Berghain to name a few.

Bear'lin Station – Origins 

The origin of the Bear'lin Station parties dates back in October 2015. After an inspiring night at the Tresor (Berlin), a group of friends were innocently discussing about organizing a techno party centred on the underground industrial world as experienced the night before. Why not to let also the people who stayed in Switzerland enjoy something like that? The idea came real when after contacting the managers of the Bar the Bear in Thyon-Les Collons, the friends were able to set up their project. The managers were so enthusiastic about the idea of ​​hosting Techno evenings at high altitude that the Bear'lin Station concept was born. 
Five months later, the first edition was launched in the heart of the Swiss Alps. The venue was entirely transformed in an underground club, flooded with strobe light and filled with smoke, the peaceful mountain inn suddenly got a bunker look.

The concept is simple: we want to offer you the chance of spending exceptional evenings, recreating the atmosphere of the German capital in Switzerland and in the whole Europe. 

Come to the next Bear'lin Station and enjoy DJ sets directly from Berlin and let your senses be pleased by something extraordinary! We are getting bigger, our parties are held regularly over the year, no matter the season and the weather, in a club it is always beautiful.
