Carry on my Wayward Son

We record in our "home studio", which is my den, a Dell PC, Cubase 5 DAW, various instruments, mics, software, etc.  We both have choral and music theater backgrounds dating back to our high school days, as well as 14 years working in bands full time before retiring from the music business.
We currently record through a Focusrite Scarlette 8i/6 to my Dell XPS8930 desktop computer. I use Cubase 5 for my DAW [Digital Audio Workstation] along with various software plug-ins for Drums [Superior Drummer 2], Keyboards, Synths, Effects, etc. I use an M-Audio Keystation 49e for my keyboard controller. Electric guitars are recorded direct through POD HD500 guitar processor, IK Multimedia Guitar Rig 5 plug-in, and various others. Vocals, acoustic guitars, and 5 string banjo recorded using various mics, usually a Rode NT1-A condenser mic or Shure SM58.
