On 12/23/23, I performed 2 sets at the Red Room for the Digital Motion Crew takeover. Playing in my hometown to a crowd of familiar friends, I opted to do things differently. Instead of playing the usual originals, these sets were dedicated to the sounds, styles, and artists that are inspiring me most. It was a fun expression for me—two 30-minute sets solely focused on others' music. I enjoyed creating these and wanted to share to highlight what I love. I hope you enjoy it too.

I had no idea she was a DJ, that she ran her own successful club night, was holding down not 1 but 2 residencies..... I Just thought her and her boyfriend were really friendly and super nice. So not not only is she a good human, She got that MF DNB pedigree son!... Please welcome G FREQUENCY (Allyson Glass) began mixing a decade ago in Miami, FL with a deep love for DRUM & BASS music, crafting sets that are unique, moody, deep and full of that intense energy that we all get hype for. She has played across Florida with various crews: RENEGADE SOUND, UNITED DNB, BEATCAMP, STRANGE BASS, PUBDUBS, recently appeared on STRAGEWAVES RADIO,  featured on GLOBALMIXX RADIO. Detroit is a beautiful and menacing place at the same time. I call it home now, and I love every minute of it. Mostly. The past winter was tough on my soul, but the city had nothing to do with that, it just provided a particularly frigid setting and vibe to my mood. Undaunted, last years diversion to Drum and Bass for a dear friends birthday, combined with it being over 20 years since Mike left us, had me revisting a dear and familiar audio landscape, with a fresh ear and a new perspective. The eclipse provided the perfect catalyst for me to flex some creativity on my first Drum and Bass mix in over a decade. 

I want my music to sound like a pack of healthy dobermans staring you down, in that moment before they tear you to shreds, or run in for all the pets. I'm cute but I have teeth too; respect me.

SPRANKLES - Drum and Bass Proper Mix

Step into the world of BEAR-TIK, the DnB artist whose musical journey began in the heart of Czech Republic's metal scene. With over a decade of stage presence and more than 200 shows with his metal band, BEAR-TIK brings a raw energy to the electronic realm.

After relocating to Canada, BEAR-TIK shifted his focus to heavy drum and bass. He completed his studies in audio engineering and music production at SAE, enhancing his skills in composing music and understanding every detail of the craft. He's performed at numerous  shows across the British Columbia in Canada.

BEAR-TIK's original music gained traction, leading to contracts with prestigious labels including Accelerant Records DnB part of Milleville Music, Outertone, Nahual Records and  MojoHeadz.
