When I was 16, I had an 8-track recorder. I also had a pen-pal in Russia. This was a gift to them. They gave this song the name it now bears.

You Became A Part Of My Heart

This is a "two birds, one stone" song. I wrote it for a songwriting class and turned it in as an english assignment. A few days later I played it for the Thanksgiving performances instead of the song I was assigned. It turned out good though, someone tweeted about it. Anyway, I was 16, so like, brace yourself.

Persuasion

A friend asked me how I was feeling one day and I replied with this as a voice memo. I stand by my answer.

This is just an emotional outburst. You know, like, when stuff happens and you're all "UGH!" and so you just sorta vomit it out in notes.
