Also the Valencian Fledermaus project with Isse at the bass, this guys are in charge of the booking for the mythical Freedonia room in Barcelona. And Javier Martinez, whose premiere release a few months ago with us.
Also New and highly anticipated collaborations in this release, such as the premiere of the talented Guatemalan Mverto Futura, our good friend Ulises Arrieta, the consecrated Sebastien Tex, also with next vinyl release underway for November of which The Slot is part, and The duo Pyramiden, with their impressive revision of Things You Said and next single on the way on Dogs & Vultures Records. Tech Support always finds a groove in everything he touches. Be that through his DJ sets, mixes or his own productions, there's a rhythmic fluidity and depth that always guides his way.

He never confines himself to one sound or style but there's a distinct nod to the 80s in his influences and output; be assured you'll find lashings of Italo, vintage darkwave, euphoric house and slo mo chug when he's behind the decks or laying it down in the studio.

His work rate as a producer has been on the up over the last few years. If he's not sharing his solo work, which has formed releases for Nocturne, Together Alone, Futureboogie, Silver Bear and, most recently Ano Ano, he's crafting his own self-released edits and reworks of legendary new beat, new wave and Italo Disco tracks like 'Burning Down The House', 'Je Suit Passee' and 'Drop The Deal’.

In 2017-2018 Japanese musician Kuniyuki Takahashi joined forces with his Swedish friend Marcus Henriksson (half of Son Kite / Minilogue) for a few jam sessions that were recorded in Tokyo in late 2017 and later digitally released by the artists themselves.
The sessions were as they called it “an improvised live recordings..” And out of them came the d-N-A Sessions. Being friends of both musicians, the mysterious J.A.K.A.M. (with 2 releases already on MT) decided to edit and rework 2 of the jam-session tracks… Using his unique sonic aesthetics, playing a lot of percussion rhythms and overlaying them on existing acid parts and drum machines, the result is breath-taking…Two tribal house Big Room cuts, for peak time club or festival set... Nothing like you’ve ever heard before...

When the first Beat Bizarre vinyl is released in 1999, it turns the established paradigm of Psychedelic Trance upside down: Powerful and impelling, yet at a moderate tempo. Minimal and repetitive, yet everything but monotonous. Catchy and with a high recognition factor, yet without any prominent melodies or hook lines. Dark and mysterious, yet funky and uplifting. Back then, the sound of the Danish project is the epitome of a movement that has just begun: Progressive Trance.

 The sound of Beat Bizarre is embraced by the scene with such great enthusiasm because it features an entirely new approach towards psychedelic dance music. Instead of using the ecstatic melodies of classic Trance productions, its hypnotic power evolves from booming basses and tight percussions, from subliminal rhythmic buildups, and from a multitude of grinding and jangling sounds that merge into a perfectly sleek groove. When this formula finds expression on the album “Lewd” in 2001 it doesn’t take long before Beat Bizarre are invited to play at all relevant parties and festivals around the world. Among many successful tracks the “Brain Drain RMX” gains probably the biggest popularity, a true milestone of the Progressive Trance genre.

 Originally Beat Bizarre starts as a duo, but in 2005 it becomes the solo project of Martin Spanner Zimmermann. Some might also remember his monumental “Liquid Structure”, the opening track of 2001’s VuuV Experience festival which he produced under the name Martian. His successful albums “MUHKARV” (2012), “Riot” (2013) and "Maunder Minimum" (2015) take the typical sound of Beat Bizarre to a contemporary level without giving away its organic soul. Operating from a studio full of analogue hardware, Martin is eager for action as ever before – so it surely won’t get boring for all the Trippy-Tech heads out there!
