...over the last year or so i had a good friend digitalizing a box of old DAT tapes i found recently in my basement. Loads of mixes, live recordings and my regular monthly mixes, that i started doing in the 80`s already... mainly the the time between 1994-2002.....there`s so many memories, you have no idea.... I will release a bunch of them step by step... so if anyone is interested where I`m coming from...enjoy these timetravels... starting today with a mix (obvs all vinyl...) of what i called TRIPPY & JUNGLE back in September 1996... a reminescence to my intensive times i had in the 90`s spending a lot of time in Bristol/UK and witnessing the development of these sounds... great times. Enjoy this surely unusual set and more to come v soon

Under One Roof Volume 1 marks the kick off to a new series of releases dedicated to new artists. 

Poker Flat head Steve Bug took part as a coach in the Mixmasters Retreat on Ibiza last year alongside veteran producer colleagues Huxley and Denney as well as singer & songwriter Jade PraiZe. 
The output of last years students was so exciting that most of the tracks have been signed for Under One Roof and the coaches Huxley, Denney and Steve Bug each contributed a remix.   
The project will continue also outside the Mixmasters retreat, but for now here is the first EP, showcasing the talents of Al Leahy and Yerik US. 

Al(ex) Leahy is a London based DJ and producer making waves in Ibiza and across Europe, and it’s not hard to see why. Shadow Rush is a slick, vibey track built from skittering house grooves and a buzzy rave bassline. 

Label regular Huxley flips the track into something more breaky, with tonnes of filtering and a bumping vibe. 

On the second track US-based Yerik US' Go Go also dials in on bass heavy house, producing a true basement bomb.

Recently relocated to Jávea on Spain’s Costa Blanca, the ever-elaborate Beat Mongrel is an empowered Techno artist with an eclectic musical palate. His music background is deeply rooted in jazz fusion, indie and rock, before discovering his passion for electronic music. 

His approach to music leans in the direction of endless possibility and constructing an image through layers of sound. Throughout the years, absorbing the rich and diverse musical culture of his hometown of Bristol, Beat Mongrel’s understanding of electronic music has aided in the development of refining himself as an artist. 

Beat Mongrel’s main impetus is dancefloor-orientated House and Techno music, driven explicitly by funk and groove. 

A seasoned DJ at heart, he is now fully invested in growing into a fully-fledged production artist in his own right.
