This is about the strong relationship and bond that my son and I have, never breaking. He has always been an upbeat, respectful, social butterfly but three years ago his father passed away. My son started first grade that year and from day one he was in the principals office too often but it never happened before. I was selfish and trapped in my own feelings for a long time, but one day it occurred to me some grown men lose it when their father's die and he was six dealing with heavy emotions. From then on I've done everything in my power to assure him that even though we have chips on our shoulders now and things may hurt at times but no matter what, I'll always be there for him.



When The Chips Are Down

I am a digital photographer, sound artist, producer, and installation artist. I have been addicted to knowledge and understanding my entire life so naturally my work stems from my life confusions and the process' that I've gone through in order to gain understanding. When I begun recording and manipulating sound I fell in love because I found a way to manipulate the minds and emotions of other people, in good or bad ways. At the same time I was hitting punch lines with my installation art and decided to make the installations more intense with ambient sound pieces or beats that I've made playing out of speakers that are strategically placed for optimal sound and aesthetic pleasure within the installation space. I have been a photographer the longest but I left it alone for 4 years so I could master other arts that helped make my artistic and sometimes life issues easier for me to understand. I have brought everything together now, taking my digital photographs and projecting them onto alternative surfaces in emotional and thought provoking sound installations. These tracks are fragments of a bigger picture in my continuous effort to blur the line between photographer and videographer.
