BeatBaptist (Johannes Naumann * 27.12.1984 in Hildesheim, Germany) is a German house and electro DJ, musician and producer.
At the age of 5 Johannes Naumann took his first musical steps with piano lessons at a music school.
At the age of 9 he formed his first band, where he played guitar and keyboard.
Also it followed drum and conga lessons at the age of 15.
After Education as a pianist and musical instrument maker, he performed in several concerts.
In 2000 he began electronic music with Steinberg programs, such as “Rebirth” of producing and launching his first records.
At the age of 17 Johannes Naumann began his DJ career in various clubs in the area Hannover in Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen). 2010 / 2011 he played as resident DJ at the Base Bar in the Yumbo Center and after-parties at the Factory club in the basement Cita on Gran Canaria.
In 2008 he opened his first club “mynt club lounge” in Hildesheim, where he organized his own party series called “Technology”.
On 15th August 2009 Johannes Naumann founded and organized his and the first Techno-Parade with the name “Generation Parade” in Hildesheim.
For his live performances he used software (Ableton Live and Reason) in combination with midi-controllers.
The focus of his DJ-sets are within the music genres, such as Minimal, Deep, Tech and Funk House.
