Today sees the remix album for 'The Whole Twelve Inches' released featuring twelve exclusive mixes by: Mathias Tanzmann, Sebo K, Guti, Mathias Kaden, Christian Nielsen, Ninetoes, Ardalan, Davide Squillace, Doorly and Victor Marso amongst others. Klinke auf Cinch zweites Album „Highs & Hills“ erschien im November 2012. Begleitet von der Transparenz-Offensive releasingarecord.de legte das Kollektiv ein von Presse und Publikum gefeiertes kleines Meisterwerk vor. Nun, fast 2 Jahre später erscheinen die „Highs & Hills Remixes“. Die Langsamkeit ist Konzept. Hier wird nicht auf schnelle Moden, Hypes und kurzfristige Aufmerksamkeit geschielt. Es geht um organisches Wachsen, um Vertrauen darin, das umwerfende Musik ihre Hörer finden wird. Und um das Konzept „Familie“, Kollektiv. Die Bearbeitungen kommen allesamt von namhaften Künstlern aus dem Umfeld von Klinke auf Cinch. Zum Teil verbinden jahrelange Freundschaften und eine Vielzahl gegenseitiger Remixe und Kollaborationen die Musiker.

Marbert Rocel, Wahl-Leipziger und Compost-Act lassen das Titelstück in einer epischen Szene enden.
Tillmann Jarmer, Zughafen Veteran, verpasst „This“ ein Jungle Gewand.
FDF, der "Freund der Familie", machen aus „In Between“ eine runtergebremste Dub-Skizze.
Boytalk, Teil von FDF und Ortloff, schichten aus „Whats Happening“ ein clappy Deephouse Brett.
Die Pentatones, beheimatet bei Lebensfreude und Live Electronica Feuerwerk, formen „Greenpower“
zu einer dunklen Hymne für eine lange Nachtfahrt.
The Micronaut, Nordlicht und Aushängeschild von Acker und 3000° zerlegt „Broken Master“ zu einer federleichten Strandszene.

Der 6-Track Vinyl wird ein Code zum Download der Stücke beiliegen. Als digitaler Bonus gibt es einen
weiteren Remix von FDF und eine ungewöhnliche Bearbeitung des Akustik Duos Wooden Peak.

One of the celebrated of the Herzblut family returns for what will be his first release since his 2011 album the The Motherland. With six releases to date including his debut long-player, French artist Nicolas Masseyeff has become synonymous with the label, and boy have we missed him. Having recently graced the likes of Suara, Selador, Noir and Mo Ferry with his music and lent his vast studio talents in the aid of others, Nicolas comes home with his latest work Vero. 

In an time where relentless linear beats can still dominate the dance floors Masseyeff is a breath of fresh air. His courageous use of melody and warm atmospheric tones are both warm and uplifting and carry the listener toward new electronic horizons. All evident once again in the spine-tingling Vero and its snarling, groovy heavy brother LEN.
