Hypothetist who always searching for an alternative explanation of common things and phenomena. Logic and spirituality are his leitmotifs. Yesterday, today and tomorrow are the main inspiration, however, his brightest visions come from unconsciousness.

The name Betamax stands for quality electronic music and analog warmth in micro/minimal/lo-fi/tech house/breakbeat and electro genres. The show itself is a mix series to represent groovy, funky, and rough sounds to show a more creative and experimental approach to dance music and @Play4n4.

The stars aligned, everything was in favor. It was not a good idea to pass up this opportunity to create something like Syntax. After a lot of work, the first reference finally appears collaborating with artists like : Dez Williams, Go5 & Lex-Or, SOJ, Negocius Man, Electrodynamique and Mauro Nakimi.

Thanks to the collaboration these artists who have shown their confidence with the release of this
label where the result is an album dominated by the hard beats of electro and the impressive melodies of EBM. With this it has been decided to have Dez Williams in this Various Artists, betting on
an enigmatic and determined composition without leaving behind the strong character that prevails.
Second is the work created by Go5 (Cibertex) and Lex Or (fill-lex records) where it is time to delve
into the experimental intrigue and undertake this wet and enveloping journey. In third position, the
development of the artist Soj emerges as the first EBM track, maintaining a marked course with hard
boxes progressively reinforced horizontally. As a fourth job, Negocius Man serves us an electric
passage for this reference in a forceful and metallic way. The fifth work travels from St. Petersburg,
providing a magical itinerary with the presence of acid, perfect for the entire ensemble... And finally
we have the artist Mauro Nakimi where he makes us deepen in dark and melancholic sensations
with a very complete and characteristic work.

„When The Circus Comes To Town“ is a track I made in 2019. It’s about some of the things that went wrong (in my opinion) in the so called Techno scene, before the pandemic forced us to press the Pause button. 

When listening to it now, it maybe sounds kinda strange. On the other side, I think the risk of falling back into bad Business Techno habits once the situation is under control is quite high. 
I personally still hope some things will change in a positive way, 
for artists, venues, labels and music fans. 

„When The Circus Comes To Town“ was supposed to come out on an amazing label from France. I was super excited about this. 

But then my external external HD broke. Even though I was able to restore some stuff, a lot of files remain broke.  
Among those destroyed files were also many many files from 
my DAW, so a lot of unreleased and unfinished stuff I made in the past years 
is probably lost forever. 

That sucks, but I’m gonna record new music - for the French label and for you.

So I decided to upload the (of course unmastered) Mp3 of „When The Circus Comes To Town“ to my SoundCloud and make it a free download for you out there.

Daniel Holt returns for this new instalment in the Allstars series. Diving deep into the darkness,
Holt resurfaces with the nine minute industrial throb of “Vaccuous Transient.” A stomping beat
pierces sci-fi score synthlines in a track brimming with menace. Staying in the US, Grey people
debuts on Frigio with the grime smeared jack of “Bruxism.” The flip is all first timers to the
Madrid label with Scannoir offering “De Panaesher.” Sitting somewhere between synth lament
and uplifting wave, this track is a true modern classic from a member of the GOTT camp.
Madrid’s very own Negocius man follows with “101 Wars” a winding worming work of
glazed electronics to kill any dance floor and the amazing finale, “The Smile Of The Body”
coming care of Bari’s talent based in Berlin under the moniker of Sons Of Traders.

Frigio Allstars 3 comes from the murky underbelly of electronics, where the nights are long
and the days are short. Ashen tones pricked with lighter shades, all smeared with attitude
