This song reflects how much I despise people who are not free-thinkers; those who follow what is told, and never question anything; the sheep's of this world, the parasites who force themselves onto others; those who are the brainwashed maggots.

A few years back I discovered Death Metal as a freshman in High School, and since then I have written song upon song. Finally, I have the opportunity to release a Brutal Death Metal album at the mere age of 16 years old! I set it as my New Year's resolution, and here it is, coming to life right before my eyes!

So I hope you enjoy.  This whole entire album was recorded and produced by me, Jordan Kahn, the only musician in Severed Disciple. 

I go to a technology school, but am transferring very soon. To say the least, my deadline to release this album is about 20 days from the minute I hit record on the first song right up until I release it. So here is to hard work and dedication!!

Scriptures In Blood is the title track off of the EP "Scriptures In Blood" by my project Butchered Asylum. It is about restriction from God; wanting to live one's life to how they want to, but are oppressed mentally into conforming to the violent emotional abuse of the disease of religion. People always claim upon something good happening "Thank God for that!" In such case, depression is the symptom of faith, so one can only assume that it is advocated within God's religion, which stems the line "Thank God For Suicide," which was going to be the original title of the track/EP. For entertainment purposes only. If you or someone you know is suffering from depression, contact a trained professional or the suicide prevention line. Suicide is a serious issue.
