We dusted off 2050's Blues, one of our less famous tracks from last year. Back then, landing 100 plays on SoundCloud was basically a celebration. Lately, thanks to their algorithm pushing AI stuff, it kinda feels like we’re almost back there 🤔. We gave it a proper makeover with fresh guitar and bass effects, a couple of sneaky layers to spice it up, drums fixed with no more clipping madness, and even the vocals got a serious upgrade. Turns out Tom was a little too generous with the compression last time, yeah, blame the producer! 🤣
Now it finally grooves the way it was meant to.

J’avais envie de soleil, d’évasion, de quelque chose qui donne envie de bouger les épaules et de se sentir vivant. J’ai imaginé cette chanson comme un cocktail à siroter sur la plage – un mélange d’énergie solaire et de fierté assumée.

Pour donner vie à cette vision, j’ai eu la chance de collaborer avec Rebel Alley (alias Ava King), dont la voix puissante et magnétique a tout de suite donné à la chanson la force et la sensualité qu’elle méritait.

Avec ses beats tropicaux, son attitude affirmée et ses refrains entêtants, “I’m A Queen” est un hymne à la confiance en soi. Ici, pas de faux-semblants : la Queen prend sa place, impose ses règles, et rappelle qu’il n’est jamais trop tard pour danser, rêver ou reprendre le contrôle.

We actually recorded this song a while ago, and it sat waiting on our hard drives for over a month. It was ready, just waiting for the right moment. Now Heatwave is finally out!! 🔥
The track is fueled by two powerful sources:
-the scorching heat wave we've been baking in lately around here;
-a deep homage to a classic "Twilight Zone" episode from the original 1961 series called “The Midnight Sun” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Midnight_Sun_%28The_Twilight_Zone%29). In that nightmare world, Earth drifts closer to the sun every day, turning New York into an unbearable inferno. It's a chilling, fever-dream survival story with a mind-blowing twist. 
Blending the physical reality of oppressive heat with the psychological dread of "The Midnight Sun", Heatwave captures that sense of slow meltdown, between flesh, city and mind.
