Here we are with the second chapter of our crazy apocalyptic trilogy!🌪️⚡️
In the first episode, with the song Everything Changed (But Me) [here: https://soundcloud.com/beatingedge/everything-changed-but-me], we took you into a world where everything had changed: strange purple-lit skies, people running everywhere, many pointing at the sky, but no one really understanding what was going on. And in the end, it all seemed like a dream, even though the view outside the window suggested the madness was actually real.
Now, with this new track called Let's Die Tonight, things take an even crazier and darker turn. Musically, we’ve shifted from Synth Pop to Dance. It's the perfect vibe to describe a wild reality where some kind of life-force vampires are driving people insane, making them feel totally unhinged as multiple celestial bodies head straight for Earth.
We strongly recommend watching the video and sticking around until the very end. After the song, our great friend and amazing artist Carl (The Beautiful Dark - https://soundcloud.com/thebeautifuldark) shows up on screen to reveal some behind-the-scenes details and hint at where the story is headed next. And yes, with the next episode of this trilogy, we’ll go full classic metal (not necessarily the next song, though).

A few days ago, while our guitarist was commenting on a song by our friend Bill (https://soundcloud.com/user-995867230) - go check out his page, he's an awesome guitarist and makes great stuff (often with the equally awesome Rob Olsson! https://soundcloud.com/rdolsson) - we randomly ended up talking about coffee. That’s when we thought: hey, we’ve got a couple of hours free and it’s boiling hot outside, why not re-record that coffee song? It actually sounded kinda cool!

On July 23, 1985, the legendary Commodore Amiga was unveiled at New York’s Lincoln Center, with the iconic Andy Warhol as its godfather and the fantastic Debbie Harry from Blondie adding star power to the event.
The Amiga was a beast for its time: 8-bit samples, thousands of colors (32 out of 4096 at first, then 256+ with AGA), and the legendary HAM mode.
A machine that changed the game and inspired this track.

We actually recorded this song a while ago, and it sat waiting on our hard drives for over a month. It was ready, just waiting for the right moment. Now Heatwave is finally out!! 🔥
The track is fueled by two powerful sources:
-the scorching heat wave we've been baking in lately around here;
-a deep homage to a classic "Twilight Zone" episode from the original 1961 series called “The Midnight Sun” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Midnight_Sun_%28The_Twilight_Zone%29). In that nightmare world, Earth drifts closer to the sun every day, turning New York into an unbearable inferno. It's a chilling, fever-dream survival story with a mind-blowing twist. 
Blending the physical reality of oppressive heat with the psychological dread of "The Midnight Sun", Heatwave captures that sense of slow meltdown, between flesh, city and mind.

Fell in love with Guitar sounds since I first heard Duane Eddy twanging out Rebel Rouser. Then I heard  Chet Atkins Hi Fi in Focus album. This was back around 1960.Me and my brother Cliff got guitars as soon as we could and started learning ourselves to play some tunes. Now about 60 years later I am still loving it. I lost Cliff last year but his jazz loving influence is still present in my playing. You can just never stop learning new stuff and ways of playing when you love the sound a guitar makes. My son Bryce also fell in love with guitar and he also is a fine singer. Il be also posting some songs that have been able play along with him.I  just hope there are people who will enjoy the music I play and post, thankyou Al Gibbs
