Per noi è una lotta che dovrebbe essere messa in pratica in tutti quegli spazi che ci appartengono, tra questi anche la dancefloor.

Voremmo invitare ad una riflessione sul diritto al rispetto e all' uguaglianza tra i generi, tramite una pratica che ci sta molto a cuore:

La musica, la danza e gli spazi del divertimento sono ancora impregnati di forti discriminazioni e tristemente connotati da diffuse violenze che il genere femminile (e non solo) si trova a subire.

Che sia anche quello del divertimento un momento di crescita collettiva e pratica del rispetto.

Beat Kouple aka Ingrid e Monzo, emerged in the late 90s and have since become an integral part of the underground scene in Bologna. Initially as part of the Global Sound Project crew and from 2004 onwards, as Beat Kouple – both in their personal and musical lives. Their DJ sets are strictly vinyl or Serato controlled by vinyl and encompass Hardtek/Raggatek/Tribecore or Drum’and Bass/Neurofunk genres. In their early years, from 2001 to 2005, they participated in the events of the historic Bolognese squat, Livello 57 and conducted a live program on Radio K Centrale – a famous alternative free broadcaster in Bologna. From 2005-2006, they managed events at the legendary “Tunnel” of the Ca.Cu.Bo and organized many events until 2010 with the Ca.Cu.Bo crew. They have taken part in seven editions of the Antiprohibitionist Street Rave Parade in Bologna, with truck and sound, from 2000 to 2006. In collaboration with the Megatron crew, they also participated in three editions of Canapisa. Beat Kouple has performed throughout Italy and beyond, at numerous events and festivals, including Million Marijuana March, Underworld, Magnetik Electronic Festival, IDM International Drum’n’Bass Meeting, Urban Legend, Malefik, Chapter R-909, The End of the World (ES), and Fete de la Musique (FR). From 2016 to 2020, Beat Kouple produced four EPs for the historic French label Astrofonik Records, with producer and friend Enigmatik; one of the EPs was a collaboration with Neurokontrol. In 2019, also in collaboration with Enigmatik, they produced two tracks for Undergoundtekno respectively on Tekno Trip 01 and 02 (vinyl). In 2020, they, together with Enigmatik, founded Mad For Kicks Records, which still releases tracks produced by the trio.
