Twerk N' Drip

“It’s nothing new. Music about losing love. We have heard artists bare their souls for centuries about the pain of heartbreak. But to be honest, I never really understood it.  
I thought it was a joke. 

Then came the day that I fell in love for the first time. It was real and it was beautiful. 
And -- like a fool -- I lost it. 

Now I understood what all those singers were getting at when they swooned lyrics like, “...I can’t stop thinking about you...” over a melancholy sounding piano. They really meant it; they truly felt that pain.

My debut album, Burning Roses, encompasses the experiences and emotions of still feeling the flames of love burn in your heart for someone who used to love you, but has moved on. The “what ifs” and “I could haves” tease your thoughts and make you wish for a time machine. The leaden weight of anger, frustration, and numbing depression cling to your body. Memories of the good times replay in your mind like a syndicated TV sitcom.
 
Then comes a moment of truth: The only way to let go is to let the flames burn out. You are left with only the ashes, but the ashes you now carry are lighter. You can now lift the awful weight of sadness and take the steps towards closure. 

I won’t gush about how this record has the most progressive production, the freshest sound, or the most incredible musicianship. That’s not up to me to judge.  

All I can say about this album is that it’s just me
My heart, a love story and 2+ years worth work of, put into sound.

2nd single off the debut album ignites the dance floor with finely chopped piano and swooning vocal samples layered with booming 808s. Each section levels up in energy and introduces new rhythmic synth lines before the track is stripped to its minimal elements. Carefully arranged string sections add a richly textured background to the feel-good bounce that is the song's undeniable motif

SteviePre - Underground

In 2016, our good friend and talented musician, Feverkin, released his astounding debut record, "Through Your Window". He possesses an uncanny ability to create a dramatic melancholy atmosphere through his use of organic instruments and unique sound foley. Needless to say, we were thrilled when he offered his tracks up for anyone to remix.

We chose "I Seek You in the Sky" to remix because the beautiful piano and textures moved our soul, but without any drums, we knew we had to flip this track with the boom-bap appeal. 
Our version turned a deep emotive ambient intro into an uplifting journey with a groovy break beat and a lush deep bass. 

We are happy to start with such a positive vibe for the 1st release of 2017. Enjoy!
