Radio Juicy presents "Quanta", which shows producer & multi-instrumentalist Cumulus Frisbee forming refined amalgamations of acoustic & electronic elements to breed his own brand of electronic jazz fusion. Combining software drumming with Gabe Millman's acoustic drumming, they create a virtual "band with two drummers" - all the while weaving layers of bass, rhodes, and enigmatic atmospheres throughout the mix. He takes cues from artists like Flying Lotus, Thundercat, and Tom Jenkinson, while pushing to carve his own path forward.

Raised by musicians and starting classical study at the age of 2, he has since seamlessly integrated his influences of jazz, soul, hip hop, funk, and metal. With his new single “Dragonfly 44”, pantology instantly grabs listeners and into a rippling, virtuosic space, evoking with an almost cinematic flair the galaxy for which it is named. A newer artist to the scene, he has nonetheless begun earning success in the the world of post-lo-fi and electronic beat productions. While building on his previous work, this track stands apart, pushing his boundaries into fresh fusion territory.
