Hi! My name is Beat Master Troy. I'm a producer from Philadelphia, PA. My story started like most other self taught producer out there. I got my first drum machine in the early 80's. I had never played the drum machine before, but there was something about the sound it made. It has always been easy for me being creative, and so i started making beats and small beats from scratch, and years later with the help of my friend uncle joe is started using the software fl studio 8,9, and 10. Now My biggest inspirations comes from hip-hop and rap, so in the beginning i was mainly doing underground stuff and in house beats. When i got better, it started getting fun hanging out in the clubs, mcing, djing and making phat beats. For some reason, I always kept the feeling that i could do this music even bigger and better, so i started to look for ways to show the world my music, letting it know about the name Beat Master Troy. I really took it up a notch when i signed up for my first beat community - Soundclick.com - getting my music heard all over the world was amazing, and it got me a little fanbase which i could speak with and get feedback from. 2 years past away, but the passion didn't, and I had definitely learned a lot since i first got started. When I was experimenting with different software and genres, it was just as big a reward as it was a challenge, So I soon found myself creating even more beats than i had artists for. Now I had improved to the point where i really believed i had skills. I really believed I could make money with my passion, and the fact that lack of local talent had me sitting on too many unused phat beats, was driving me outta my mind. I decided to look even further for ways to do business. Finally In 2013 I got my first site allowing people to buy my beats online. Things had gone international, opening new doors of opportunities for my music. Working with serious paying artists ranging from the U.S to China, I couldn't believe the attention i finally got. I was in business! I'm writing this About ME in 2013, and i'm still as hyped about music as i was when i hit that buttons on my first drum machine, and I still intend to be the leading most played producer on the web, no doubt...
