French house mainstay Larry Houl is back aboard The Disco Express, this time collaborating on a new project with fellow Nu-Disco artist Dave Kurtis.

Known for his signature charisma and a voice reminiscent of Jamiroquai's Jay Kay, Parisian Larry Houl has been shaping the scene for nearly a decade. As both a composer and singer, his work spans personal projects and collaborations with top-tier artists like Demuja, Jean Tonique, Oden & Fatzo, and Georges.

Now, he’s back with two electrifying releases alongside Dave Kurtis. Together, they present an original three track EP, amorously named 'Music Is For Lovers'.

When Dave Kurtis (Tropical Disco, Spa In Disco, and Tasty Recordings) crafted a funky groove that needed the perfect vocal touch, the collaboration with Larry Houl was a natural fit. The result? 'Just A Little Bit of You', a track that blends the soulful energy of Jamiroquai with the sleek, futuristic edge of Daft Punk—featuring infectious guitar riffs, a groovy bass line, and captivating vocals.

Kurtis also delivers ‘Stomp,’ a full-throttle disco anthem built to set dance floors ablaze. With a classic off-bassline, irresistible groove, and vintage vibes, it’s a straight-up Studio 54 throwback—an essential for any DJ’s crate.

Originally created in 2012, ‘My Love’ was the second-ever track Larry Houl and his collaborator produced together. Over time, it became a fan favourite, racking up 114K plays on SoundCloud. A serendipitous moment at a wedding party last summer rekindled their love for the track, sparking the idea for an updated, modern version—same soul, fresh perspective.

Featuring Barcelona's Giman & Chic_Ago on the remix of 'Just A Little Bit of You', these tracks reaffirm Larry Houl and Dave Kurtis talented producers in the evolving house and disco scene. Keeping the romance and funk alive while pushing boundaries. Get ready to move—these are grooves you won’t want to miss.

Disco Mind heads all the way to South America for this next outing with Colombian duo Vagabundo Club Social at the helm, having previously impressed on the likes of Razor n Tape. 'El Gato' kicks off with bright, expressive disco horns and fat, low-slung drums that draw your hips right in. 'Yim Zalzedo' has another thick-set rhythm and this time the horns take a back seat to the percussion and jazzy keys and congas. 'Tabu' flips the vibes and taps into a revivalist 90s house sound with piano chords getting hands in the air, then 'Adicto Al Limon' shuts down with a perfect uplifting and feel good Balearic house sound with a classic Chic bassline.
