This is a cover of "Disillusionment for the Emotional Type" by You'll Never Get To Heaven. Hearing this instrumental triggered so much raw emotion that I couldn't resist writing a song that truly expressed how it made me feel. It's such a unique arrangement! I wrote this song for someone I grew to love without even realizing my heart began to turn a page my mind wasn't ready for. It was like I was blindsided with the smell of roses. I feel like everyone has had that one person they fell in love with when that hadn't been the original intention and I felt this song could resonate with so many. I hope you all enjoy!

I wrote this song to the guitar solo at the end of "I Want You" by Erykah Badu. This track is about being a dominant woman, empowering dominant women, and being secure in that dominance. I’m dropping this single early just for all my loyal supporters!

Beatrixz was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where she excelled through much adversity including being raised in a single-parent household, being a survivor of multiple sexual assaults and abuse, homelessness, behavioral disorders, gun violence, and the list goes on…. Nevertheless, graduated high school as Valedictorian with a full academic scholarship to the Ohio State University, and by that time she’d been a 7 time published poet.

She went on to become a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. She was crowned 2018 Miss Black Girl Magic at the annual BGM AWARDS AT OHIO STATE,  featured in The Who’s Who in Black Columbus 2019 book, and participated in many other activities such as talent shows, step shows, open mics, fashion shows before graduating with her Bachelors of Arts in Arts Management in May of 2019. 

She was the only female featured in the 1st Kick A Verse Cypher 2K20!

She embodies resilience, humility, and creativity.
