London-based K2W0 (Khayal Khan) makes his official debut with Beats On Time, for label release #12, 'Sheesha'.
Dark and brooding with glassy percussion (hand recorded by K2W0) and a punchy bassline, 'Sheesha' is a dancefloor track that is full of tension and turmoil. The inspiration behind the track comes from the personal life of the artist, K2W0. Struggling with the loss of his father and a difficult breakup, this track was born. Sheesha means glass, and the lyrics roughly translate to 'wether it is a mirror or heart it eventually it breaks'.

Unacceptable is the first track of the EP. t's a funky groover with a lock-stepping beat, trumpets, horns, and a soulful vocal. A retro funky futuristic sound that we love, regardless of the time and the place.

Dil Ka Fever is a dark love song coming from somewhere deep inside, somewhere very hot. A high-energy peak-time track to close out the EP.

Going back to his time traveling around South America and absorbing the sounds, especially samba and salsa... Its a frenetic dancefloor exploration of bouncing beats, latin percussions and samba guitar in the context of electronic music. Rivellino and Andrea Castells, two Barcelona based rising stars, present a more stripped-back and minimal take that is focused on the groove and its nice and smooth. And last but not least, Oldnews is a rising Brooklyn-based producer and DJ who closes out the EP with his remix, coming at you with an explosive and funky jam.
