Techno Unlimited #17 Featuring - Wilcot

Freedom for music! Since I began to record my sets people keep telling me what I am allowed, and what not. What I should play, which style, and how long - a little bit more tribal, a little bit more house. The ecstatic dance scene has a good laugh because of the word techno in my shamanic tantra techno project and finds it pretty ridiculous. I don’t have to tell you what the techno scene, or the psy trance scene think about what I am doing. And you know what? I will keep on doing what I need to do. And that is exactly what I am doing since 2,5 years now. Playing all kinds of music. I let the universe decide which track will be followed by the next. And I love the output. Always surprising and not predictable.
This set for example is a fast one 125-127 bpm, it was not planned - it came to me, like all the other sets and for that I am very thankful. Enjoy if you feel like, or complain, but it won’t change anything. Thanks for your understanding.

What is shamanic Tantra Techno

When we hear tantra, the first thing in our mind is sex. It happened to me that I was invited to play at a tantra retreat for 4 days and there I learned, that it is not about sex. It is about creating a safe space for all of us. Where we can be, who we are and express ourselves. All kinds of feelings and emotions and everything is accepted and welcome!

Shamanic Tantra Techno now is just about that. We gather and express ourselves to music. Like in an ecstatic dance it is just about the music and during the time the music is playing we don’t talk. It is like a meditation, while dancing your as off. 

If presented live there is an opening ceremony where everybody can put his intentions into this dance and a Breath-work before we start a two hour music journey, that will take you literally everywhere. No rules, every kind of music and every kind of movement will be welcome - sometimes fast and loud, and sometimes slow and low. It will be a journey through all possible emotions.

Es finden Fragmentierungen statt, die uns beeinflussen.
Fragmentierungen in uns, mit uns und um uns herum.
Oft habe ich den Eindruck, diesen Zergliederungen, Verformungen und einer Zersplitterung ausgesetzt zu sein. 
Mehr oder weniger, neben mir zu stehen und zuzuschauen, wie etwas mit mir geschieht.
Und immer entstehen Überreste als separierte Bestandteile, die sich nicht zueinander fügen lassen.

Ende und Anfang...fassbares Dazwischen?
Die Bruchteile werden zu einer Form von Deplatzierung und man kann sich nur noch schwierig verorten in dieser Umgebung, die keine Form findet oder in der Form, die keine Umgebung findet.
Verformte Körperlichkeit, die verschwimmt in einer flirrenden Particle-Umgebung.
Eine Bühnenperformance die ein Gleichnis findet, in Bruchteile zergliedert und Splitter zurück lässt.
Scanlines, die durch Sound getriggert, Körperformen durchschneiden, zerformen und verschieben.
Klangstrukturen, die wie fragmentarische Ereignisse entwickelt sind und aufeinander reagieren.
Minimal-Simultionen in hoher Geschwindigkeit.
Physisch manipulierte techische Elemente, die sich aus Splittern generieren und wie elektronische Restsegmente, Entladungen erzeugen.
