Desolat, the label Loco Dice, finally and after so much hard work they
have completed their first album on Beatwax Records and have
entitled it “A Young Long Trip”. Aldo Cadiz & Ricky Erre Love have now
been collaborating for two years sharing their ideas, dreams and
experiences.They are trying to get something positive across through a
unique audio experience that evolves over time. Although their stories
are different, they are interwoven in an artistic partnership, made
homogeneous and uniform through the use of hypnotic grooves that
are deep and overwhelming, and always enriched by delicate and
loving melodies that have made this project become a reality.We are
expecting an album that is intimate, engaging and full of surprises.

Nuremberg based producer Homebase steps up for the 25th release of Beatwax Records.

The German artist has been in the mixture of electronic music culture since the 90s. After landing a weekly residency the Toxicc Club in 1993, his devotion towards dance music began, later working at Tom Novy's record store in the city.

Beatwax carry a similar presence in the scene, originally opening as a record store in 2003 and becoming a central hub for collaboration and supplying music to the city's diggers. Fast forward to 2021 and the collective is still running strong with over 50 digital releases, and the 25th vinyl from local legend Homebase. Rhythm Cult is back again as last summer hit ‘PPPPP’ from youANDme gets a second special package of reworkings from a band of meticulously selected remixers from around the globe. This time we welcome the likes of Shed (50 Weapons, Ostgut Ton) and Johannes Albert (Live At Robert Johnson, Renate Schallplatten) to the Cult to provide exciting new iterations breathing their unique spirit into an already memorable track.



First up to the platter is raw techno purveyor Shed in his Head High guise, who serves up a faithful but turbo-charged rework. The original’s ludicrously addictive vocal refrain returns, orbiting endlessly across the soundscape while the drums get serious steroid enhancement creating a weighty groove that hits hard. One of Rhythm Cults' favourite house producers Ian Pooley comes next, returning to deliver a sublime raw house re-take as only he knows how. Filtering and manipulating the vocal cuts and old-school stabs, he creates a bumping excursion into the cavernous depths, complete with lush echoing dub chords and jackin’ percussion. One for the house heads and as always, dancefloor dynamite. The Drunken Diva ‘Scream Mix’ shifts down through the gears to create an almost lilting, off-kilter dub-influenced iteration. Perfect for those hot late-night summer dancefloor moments, this cut takes it deep and dark. Finally, Berliner Johannes Albert swoops in to direct the track into a crunchy minimal 808 territory. His rework is complemented by some slick vocal chopping and frequency-shifted segments

It`s all about music, but we also would like to know, who you are in person and what s your musical carrier, (biographie) as a DJ/Producer !

Please do understand, that we need some time listening to all tracks. This will take at least 1 or 2 weeks.
So please don`t worry if you are not getting any feedback within 2 days after sending your demo. It won´t take any longer than absolutely necessary, but a serious feedback takes time.

We hope, you will understand, that we only write back if your demo is interesting enough for our Label.
