at a really interesting time in my life a friend showed me the original track by @sadkey and I wanted to remix it. this one took a little longer than normal with a bunch of changes to the edit & 2 pushed back release dates.

this edit follows a lot of the style I've tried to create - it hits hard but also has this huge emotional & melodic undertone that combined, I feel, gives more than a traditional cookie cutter track.

Some of you may have heard but one of my best mates and someone that I created my sound with has decided to end the $aturn project. 

About 5 or 6 years ago we started making chill trap music together and even started a side project called Chilled Velvet!

We made this track about 4 years ago and we never got a chance to release it and going through my old Soundcloud today and I thought if not now, when will I post this. So I thought fuck it imma put it up.

The vocalist Sarah Shields is amazing and she is is going to put out a completely different version of the track herself but she too thought it was too good not share this.

We loved this track and hope you do too, sorry we didn't get it out earlier xx

Blissful (with $aturn & Sarah Shields)

Beau D. Schaepman (a.k.a. BeauDamian) is a Dutch composer/music producer currently living in Tokyo, Japan. His music tends to vary a lot, as it goes from club & festival bangers to game and film tracks (winning a BUMA Award for Best Original Composition in Trailer). His inspiration comes from genres such as Jazz, Electronic and Classical Music. He loves to take the listener to an imaginary dimension where all emotions are included. 

With releases on bitbird, STMPD RCRDS, Barong Family and Monstercat he’s giving the opportunity to show the world what he is capable of. He has received great support by the likes of Martin Garrix, San Holo, Marshmello and Alison Wonderland amongst others. Throughout the years he played parties and festivals all across Europe, Asia and the United States.

At the moment he is studying at Berklee Valencia, where he follows the program Master of Music "Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games" – make sure to keep an eye on this multi-talented artist.
