Concurrent with working on the Strange U project on Eglo and his instrumental album release on Black Acre, Doctor Zygote has decided to fling out some new and old tracks on a limited vinyl EP on his own Zoot imprint. With hip hop firmly as a starting point, Z explores different moods within the 6 instrumentals. One side of the EP is dark, the other more jovial.
Foregoing cover art, Z hijacked old easy listening record sleeves with spray paint to make each one individual, and also as a nod to all those (largely unremarkable) records that people wade through in order to get to the good ones. Vinyl release is on October 7, with digital to follow after, however if you buy through the bandcamp link, you can get it sooner, and in both formats.
