Originally from Dijon, he's been hanging out behind the decks for more than 10 years. He is part of the Risk Party collective as well as the Sirk Festival program. 
If you're lucky, you've had the chance to see him in action at Nostromo Festival in July, throwing big nuggs at the Forest Stage with Nicolas Bailly.

He regularly makes a splash  behind the decks, like at Nostromo Festival or when he plays with his friend Dawidu, with whom he shares a sharp taste for tracks that come out of nowhere but make everyone crazy.

We don't know when we met Moris - we call him JR - but it must be at a party, or more likely at an after party. If you never met him, you can easily meet the bear-sized young man behind the turntables of an afterparty, playing funky records you never heard of. Although the young JR is "sympa sans plus", he became one of our friends, don't ask us how or why, we don't know. He is the type of guy who comes to the party thinking of what should be in the "baaaag" for the afterparty. This podcast is a quick dive in Moris' current record bag: a fine blend of tech house, synth pop, and electro funk.

We are happy to introduce you to Mr Duvi, a fresh face (with a cute smile) in the Parisian circuit that we know now for more than 3 years. He is a founding member of the Paris-Bruxelles mob gang Azi Chuicho /slang term for "I am highly motivated to lay it down bro". Those who attented their events might remember the good vibes and private joke-themed flyers.
For the record, this podcast was meant to be a Basic Movement podcast - Gira's prior dj crew - but then Covid stroke and Gira joined us, so we're finally happy to host this one after a long wait - it was worth it.
Silky deep chunks assembled with a laid back attitude and still this cute smile that you can hear all the way through: this is today's menu and it is higly recommended by the whole staff.

A fervent record collector since 2011, https://soundcloud.com/cailloulapierrequiroule has been waving through Paris' undergound scene since more than a decade, playing in shady bars on dodgy setups. Then he moved to Lausanne in 2015 where he founded Chateau Chépère with two new swiss friends: originally a series of parties and afters, it became later a music label, oriented towards what Caillou calls "Sleep House": a deep sound leaning towards atmospheric sounds that you can both listen in your sofa or play at the club during warmup or after sessions. The influences are multiple: Smallville, Analog Attic, Deep Explorer, Scissor & Threads and the older brothers Guidance, Svek, Driftwood: all quality and timeless labels. 4th release has been announced and it sounds great, so you should have a listen: On the tracklist are figuring Eli Verveine, Tim Jackiw and a romaninan duo: Andu Simion & Dragos Roban. 
When Caillou moved back to Paris, he became a member of the swiss-french crew Duty Free, hand started co-organising parties in secret places and littles clubs, where local and internationals guest can freely express themselves: LeGram, Rafon, Thorgerdur, Alexia from Omato, Club Pizza and even our own Gira!
Our guest is used to intimate dancefloors where he can pick up listeners along the way without them noticing, so expect from him a delicate selection and a subtle mixing rather than bangers all the way: it's all about the storytelling!

Podcast Beau Mot Plage 6.03 - Caillou

For the 4th installment of our podcast season, please meet our friend Tiago Marques @tiagomarques, part of the Lisbon scene for more than a decade - he had been part of the notorious Bloop Recordings for years as he also had been for Nugs On Board imprint since 2019.
He plays regulary at the small but highly qualitative club 5A, where we had the chance to go last summer and witness his ability to play great tunes all night long. The night:day after, we also had the chance to play with him at Ministerium for a B4B closing session that is one of our best recent club memories as a collective.
Tiago is the discrete but steady kind of guy: letting the music speak rather than the ego is a motto that could define him (too) briefly. We've been in touch for two years but it feels like we always have been buddies, so when we knew he was preparing a podcast for us, we were all super hyped by the perspective of listening to it, knowing we won't be disappointed. We all agreed after the first hearing: "No surprise, it's really good". So now you turn to enjoy it!

A record collector since 2016, Corentin has been refining his style over the years and showcases through this mix his love for housey bits done around Y2K, all assembled with a steady flow that will get you through it smoothly.

For this new podcast instalment, we have the pleasure to welcome Merlino @merlino13 ! Born in Heidelgerg from a German mother and a Marseillan father, young Merlino got the chance to live in London, Berlin and Mannheim where he discovered electronic musics (and how to party). He now lives in Marseille since a few years and the least we can say is that he adopted its sunny way of life: our boy got nicknamed Ricard'eau by the locals and the Velodrome stadium has no secrets for him. Passionate about digging, Merlino can play a long list of different styles but he has a slight kink for German 00s minimal, 90s house, electro... This podcast is a sweet dive into what Merlino has been digging recently, a fresh and sunny selection weaved with gracious skills on the 1200s. Co-founder of the Kinetik Toys crew that glows on Youtube with recently unearthed digs, he also runs parties in Marseille with precious and skilled guests, among them: Sibil, Jorge Escribano, DJ Tree, Ethan McNamara... Dear listeners, please find attached the soundtrack Melody composed for us, which consists of an hour-clocking of electro delights, from eerie ones to naughty ones. This is the perfect exemple of "how to keep up a vibe".
The young Lady has been at the forefront of the parisian scene for years; you may know her for playing with her Berlin-based bestie Ethel.
She got integrated in 2015  into the most respected women-only gang RA+RE, who is responsible of the best daytime party in the french capital: Breakfast Club. 
But more than a party or a DJ collective, RA+RE is also a lovely label that crosses fashion and music worlds. Lastly the girls released the excellent debut EP from the young and gifted Charlotte, and are about to release Denaila's first EP as well.

For the sixth episode of our podcast season, let us introduce you to our close friends from 192. We can't really remember when or where we met the three young lads but it must have been while heavy partying, ages ago. 
The three fellas united under the 192 moniker when they all moved to Berlin to learn how to DJ at the Mulack school. They graduated super fast and received the congratulations from the jury presided by Mrs. Weihs thanks to secret signature moves and extended digging investigations. It's safe to say they worked pretty hard and most of the time overnight to fight their way towards online celebrity.

Podcast Beau Mot Plage 4.06 - 192

Ladies and Gents, the podcast series are back! After a long hiatus, we could not be happier to welcome a young podcast master despite his young age: Pietro Bernasconi. 
Passionate since the tender age of 5 about music, he started collecting records 8 years ago and soon got invited to play at the YaY parties alongside And.rea, to name just one. Cutting his teeth at those parties with the Yay crew - in Veniceberg for instance - made him dig and dig deeper and then allowed him to showcase his taste and skills through podcasts that gained a cult status among us - we all remember his excellent LowMoneyMusicLove podcast that got released a few moons ago and got us into Pietro's vibes. Thus it felt very natural to ask him to do one for us; he kindly accepted and took the right time to organise the delightful chapters of his story, oscillating between groovy tunes, spacey, funky breaks, and floorfillers.
 Press play, Pietro's infectious flow will make you move, headnodding from A to Z, and raising your arms in the air even if at home.
These days, Pietro is launching his own label with his Terraforma mates: Nottetempo. The aim of the label is to publish music from friends and new names, without focussing too much on the dancefloor vibes, and willing to share all kinds of electronic music. Keep your ears peeled, something tasty is cooking in the oven.

Podcast Beau Mot Plage 4.07 - Pietro Bernasconi

For our next podcast we decided to invite a close friend from Lille: Louis-Charles aka Eltouss. We got to know this young fella through mutual friends and then we became quickly friends, as we were meeting at the same parties in front of the same Djs. Well, Louis-Charles has spent a lot of time in front of a Dj, since his father and brother are both djs, who introduced to him the art of playing records. Coming from a hip-hop influenced background - hence the intro of this podcast -  Louis-Charles has been going to nightclubs since he has the legal age, discovering and shaping his tastes between Bruxelles - particularly the Motion Room of Fuse - and Amsterdam. While travelling he also discovered the pleasures of digging records in every city he is visiting and started to amass an impressive collection.
Over the years, he gained local recognition thanks to his Kepler-129 parties, which he co-organises in unusual and unused spaces, where quality dance music, respect and open-mindedness are key words. He also holds a residency in the tiny but qualitative hometown nightclub La Relève.
Now, enough talking and let's press play to dwelve into Eltouss own territories, where groove and darkness are friends.

Mari.te - real name Maria Teresa Otero - has been for a long time on our radar: we are thrilled to showcase her current selection through this podcast. Despite being a Venezuelan native, the roots of her love for electronic music have grown in New York where she got to live 10 years ago. Over the years she took part in the ReSolute project and initiated her own parties: Off the Record in NYC. This is where she met our colleagues from RA+RE and got asked to integrate the only-ladies' roster while organizing events with the girls. Later on, she decided to leave New York for Madrid, where she is operating since a few years now, running her label Tresydos - we suggest to check the label and the 6 releases: different styles but same quality. She has launched her own brand of events in her adopted city, named after her label, besides being a resident for the Sigh Club, a monthly party with the best selectors of our scene as guests.
