Patapenka is a new disco-leaning alias from Minsk-based Uladzimir Patapenka, who has previously worked as LIPSKI. With 15 years music making experience under his belt including work as an Ableton Live instructor, he sure does know his way around a tune. He worked on these pieces over several months with vocalists, trumpeters and a cellist and as such they are layered tracks that work both in the club or at home. 'Children' is a warm and sunny one that transports you to a balmy Mediterranean coast line. 'First Dance With You' brings more jazzy vibes with Afro vocals and beautifully lush grooves while Latin feels dominate the slower sounds of 'La Playa'. 'What About This' is a blissed out and stirring instrumental with swooning strings and 'Canvas, Oil' shuts down with Rhodes laced funk. A sublime EP.

There are plenty of cosmic synth waves to Black Truffle's 'Dancing Through The Night' while the LTJ Xperience close down with a super laid back and summery vibe on 'Sunny Groove.'

Salat: The podcast was recorded at home, at 5 AM, using Traktor Scratch, turntables and mixer.

2. Your favourite release of the month? 
Salat: Skee Mask - Inti EP

3. Plans for the nearest future? 
Salat: To release my first EP on a good label. ;)

4. How do you spend your free time?
Salat: Trying to meet my friends, but it's not always possible, because everyone is busy. So I play computer games at night with my girlfriend. In general I love fishing and football.
