i started another artist's song and assumed it had gone on to another song of theirs when this came on next. I thought it sound sooo much like Beauvois .... then I saw this hahaha such a lush distinctive sound. I didn't know this one but it is lovely

I'd love to buy this track- the itunes link is defunct for me though, unsure if that's because I'm in Canada or if it's just old. Is there a way I can still purchase this?

Ceres was produced in a basement studio I had setup in the middle of winter. I remember sketching out the main melody on the Rhodes, layering the ambience, and building the drums out of foley recordings I took in the forest. The sketch started to paint the picture of this open landscape to me. That image really stood out, and finishing the track almost felt like an escape from the studio to that place... Hope you enjoy.

I've always envisioned the Beauvois sound as something ethereal, dreamy, and easy to listen to. Most of the track titles are usually reminiscent of something that's bigger than us, that we can't grasp entirely. This is what the Dimensions EP is to me - simple songs with no particular meaning; that will push you to think bigger about things, or just be contemplative of how small we are. Bigger than the universe, Dimensions is pushing the idea that there's more than one reality, and that ours may not be the one we fit it or deserve - but it's there, and we need to cherish it.
