Beau Weaver in some of his last appearances on live radio, at KRTH 101 Los Angeles.  These "airchecks" were taken directly the from studio cassette skimmer. Though Beau had retired from radio years earlier in favor of a career in television voiceover, KRTH PD Mike Phillips coaxed him back on the air to play, following  a reunion of air talent at KFRC in San Francisco.  Many of Beau's colleagues from LA's 93/KHJ were reunited  by Phillips and consultant Bill Drake for a kind of RKO revival on KRTH, which included Robert W. Morgan, The Real Don Steele, Humble Harve and more.  Beau was heard infrequently on KRTH in the early 1990s.

A fourteen minute meditation on Good Friday, drawn from the worship life of the intentional Charismatic Christian community that grew up around the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Houston's decaying urban East End in the 1970's.  From this eclectic unconventional tribe came a wellspring of original forms of worship, communal living and shared ministry that was eventually sent out to form the Communities of Celebration abroad.  The hallmark of this fellowship was a profound worship life, and an inexplicable love for each other.
