Debut release for the UK born, Australia-based warehouse party. 
After 7 years curating a die-hard following for their gatherings on land, BAG’s first foray into the world of cyberspace charts TC80, who lays out a melancholic yet euphoric four-tracker. 

The titular track, the A1 – Lost Station, is a highly functional piece with a signature grit in its bassline to contain a haunted high-end. 
Floating through the stars, looking down over the pyramids is Prophecy – a breaky number with an ethereal almost marimba-like chime to hurtle out of the Stratosphere. 

The B side brings all back down to earth with Vanilla Sky underscoring one of TC80s finest works of the season. Zotra ties it all together, another highly functional tool with the cybernetic backbone to catch terrestrial attention.

MixedBAG is back! It has been over a year since our last podcast and we are pleased to welcome none other than UK DJ and Producer, Samuel Padden who has cut his teeth in the Liverpool and Manchester scenes.

It’s been a long time between podcasts, but we are finally back!

Hailing from the town of Ploieşti, Andu Simion has been a part of România’s underground architecture for over 9 years, releasing his first solo track on Local Records in 2011. Since then he has gone on to release a number of exciting and intrinsically unique EP’s on Priku’s Atipic, Inner’s Polen label, Cueva Records, Particular and Cakeman as well as form part of the trio Lisière Collectif.

Both in his solo and group work Andu pushes the boundaries of the conventional Romanian sound producing music which blends the line between minimal, electro, acid and dub. His work delves into the deep and reflective, producing distinctive basslines which perfectly compliment powerful synth stabs and inviting pads. In his latest mix for BeAvantGarde, he takes us on a thought-provoking journey through his music collection, seamlessly blending tight minimalistic grooves with and dub oriented cuts.

Born in Kyoto Japan, Takashi is foremost known for his finely crafted minimal productions which landed him big releases on RORA in 2014 and Rummenigge in 2015. With a change in musical direction Takashi has more recently collaborated with the like of Le Loup for a massive EP on BinarySound in early 2019 before starting and releasing on his only Phreak Records. 

In Takashi’s latest mix for BeAvantGarde, he takes us on a vibrant journey through his record collection displaying a wide array of breakbeat, UKG, up tempo house and electro tipped hammers.
