A special collaboration with Partout records from Paris. Break 3000 dug deep in the archives for this one and found some old unreleased music on his dusted DAT tapes ranging from 1993 to 2002. Now released for the first time ever on vinyl 12” and digital.

“Human” and “Komputerok were produced in the same project in his Maastricht bedroom studio back in 2002 and reflect to great influence artists like David Caretta and The Hacker had on his sound back then, a mix of banging Electro Clash meets EBM, 80s Proto House.

“Overdrive” opens the B-side and a window to the late 90s. This track was produced together with his classic “Plastique People” around 98/99 and was an instrumental track luckily found again, Break 3000 added a new vocal and made a fresh shorter Edit. Thanks to the
excellent mastering by Salz Music this one is back in today’s sound standards.

The next pearl from the past is a real favourite and is the oldest track featured on this EP. “Ambizone” was recorded back in 93/94 and marks the transition from his first musical project Amazone to becoming Break 3000. Recorded in an amazing analog studio in Venray Netherlands where Break 3000 worked on a full album. More music will follow from these old sessions! Stay tuned.

Closing out with “Nature”, a true homage to the early Rephlex sound and produced around 97/98. Acts like Bochum Welt, D’arcangelo and µ-Ziq had an immense influence on Break 3000 and are a reason why he started to make more electro orientated music.

Another big release is coming up on Last Night On Earth! There has been a really well flavored collaboration cooking for a while and it’s time to add this to the catalogue. Sasha has been building on a new scenery with Artche bringing their work to fruition on the new ‘Siren Chords’. The Manchester based producer Artche has been showing off his talent on labels like Eric Prydz’ ‘Pryda presents’ imprint and Lane 8’s ‘This Never Happened’ label, before embarking on this collaborative adventure.

The title track ‘Siren Chords’ started out in Sasha’s hands and made it’s way to Artche who got this track to the next level by adding his own flavours. The result is a journey of sound combining Sasha’s signature breaks with Artche’s beautiful vocals and melody work. Artche comments; ‘Growing up listening to Sasha’s live sets and productions have had a big influence on the music I make today, so to release a collaboration with the man himself is an amazing feeling and to release it on Last Night On Earth makes it all that more special.’

Alongside the title track there will be two original tracks by Artche featured on this EP by the names of ‘Split Open’ and ‘One Who Knows’, a perfect fit for the label. Artche’s signature sound really shines trough here incorporating his intricate vocal work and big melodic synthesizer lines. The full release will be out on August 21st.

Because Of Art, the alias of London based producer Alex Grover, who has very quickly established himself as one of dance music's hottest new talents, hailing attention from ravers, DJs and tastemakers alike.

Alex has had successes across the entire spectrum of dance music, most recently for his rave inspired collaboration with Antony Szmierek ‘Circle Of Light’. ‘Circle Of Light’ received widespread support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music with multiple plays from Pete Tong, Jack Saunders, Sarah Story and Craig Charles. Spotify UK also championed the track across their editorial playlists including ‘Altar’ and ‘New Music Friday’. 

Outside of the studio and behind the decks, Because of Art is a growing name on the DJ circuit, most notably sharing bills with the likes of Franky Wah, Sven Väth, Dusky, Anja Schneider at Motion Bristol, Egg London and many more. Alex's DJ skills can be sampled in his mix for Sasha’s prestigious label ‘Last Night on Earth’, where he released ‘Home’ in 2022. 

2023 is shaping up to be an exciting time for Because of Art, with forthcoming releases on Anjunadeep, Stress Records and more.
