I can't describe how it felt to be back playing in front of such a beautiful energetic crowd at @elementsfestival , with such a sea of colour, smiling faces & sunshine, following a tough couple of years for the music & events industry.
Elements Festival's production & programming was up there with one of the best I've seen. Situated in the green & secluded Landcruiser Mountain Park, it is well worth the trek to bask in its beauty. Well done to Trent & the team for putting on such a wonderful Festival.

Finally!!!! Here's my set from Burning man 2017 on the Mutant Vehicle HeadSpace!! 

Loved playing a Melodic Techno Journey set. Was so cool driving round playing on this art car getting to see the view of the Playa. Was on a 41 degree day and I played from 5 till 6.50pm so was so hot up there with no cover. One of the CDJ's was almost fully broken so I quickly learnt how to mix with a broken Deck and everything was completely covered in the thick playa dust. Was a great experience, Loved it!!!

Recording of my Rainbow Serpent set and most enjoyable time to date! Rainbow is easily the best festival with its organic and unique energy. It shares the best of a vibing crowd, crazy colourful visuals, world class stage designs and elite of elite sound systems. Even then there is just the raw connection between dancefloor & DJ, something which words cannot describe and only felt. Thank you to the rainbow team for their efforts and for the great opportunity. “Ahead of my GU42 Berlin album release on March 29th, I wanted to share a very special live set from the other side of the planet. Like Berlin, Rainbow Serpent is an anomaly on the rave map. This mix will be online for a very limited period only:

The best dance floor in the world. That’s the Market Stage of Rainbow Serpent Festival to me. The energy of the Rainbow tribe, the rabid vibe and feeling of unity are difficult to describe to anyone who has not been here. Simply standing on the dancefloor and experience this incredible sound system is one of life’s finer pleasures. I felt absolutely honoured to be trusted with the task to close the festival. Looking onto the dancefloor from the dj booth, the Market Stage painted a beautiful picture. The atmosphere was electric and love-drunk all day, Nick Warren and D-Nox brought their A-game.

This is my third year in a row playing here and the absolute highlight on my yearly calendar. In these years my wife and I have made friends for life here, which is why we release this mix with our beloved Wildwood crew. We have grown extremely fond of Australia as a country. This place has received us with open arms from day one and never fails to blow our minds in many different ways. It has become our second home.

While we are all experiencing the impacts of a global pandemic, it has been interesting to see the affects in which people engage with music. Be it singing together from balconies, watching live streams on social media or composing isolation songs, many of these new forms and repertoires bore witness to an underlying conviction about music’s ability to create and maintain social bonds, to show gratitude, to promote public health, and to escape from anxiety, boredom, loneliness, stress, and uncertainty about the future. I wish to thank the Flow Music Crew for expanding upon this. 
Music is a method of therapy and a means of accessing and stimulating specific cerebral circuits. As someone who has a music & neuroscience background, it has been very interesting to see music’s effects be put to the test. During times of spatial distancing, the role of music in social convergence has been strongly pushed to the forefront. There is a strong an association between musical creativity and psychopathology. I know we are all impacted in one way or another at present, so I hope this curation of music is somewhat therapeutic. I hope this set allows you to positively reflect whilst simultaneously escaping into your own ideal psychological state. After all.. Art history is the unfolding of subjectivity

From the country to the city, Bec Grenfell is renowned for her seamless dj sets and unique blend of ethereal techno and house music. Over the last 10 years she has gained a huge amount of respect with many of the big players in Australia, subsequently scoring performances at the prestigious Rainbow Serpent Festival 4 years in a row, as well as many other festivals such as Strawberry Fields, Elements, Babylon, Luft, Beyond the Valley, Piknic Electronik, and Circoloco. Bec has also recently played internationally at the world renown club The Block in Tel Aviv & Ozora. Not to mention a slew of the Australia's best clubs like Revolver, 161, Xe54, Circus and Brown Alley alongside Melbourne's finest promoters Novel, Thick as Thieves, Untitled Group, Stable Music, Wildwood, Hardware, Nu techno, Arteq & One More Tune. 

When it comes to passion for quality music, whether it be old or new, Bec Grenfell has it down to a fine art. Playing her own definition of a much broader spectrum of electronic music, Bec’s music is best described as a unique style of melodic ethereal undertones with heavy basslined house and techno. She loves less obvious or predictable sound landscapes as she believes the unknown is always more attractive. 

Bec's passion for music delves deeply to a neuroscience level with her avid research on music's powerful effects on the brain in neurological conditions and her rehabilitation for people with cognitive and movement disorders.

Bec is constantly pushing the boundaries with her visionary sounds, paving the way for female artists in the underground scene. She lets her music knowledge and over 10 years of experience in the scene do the talking. She really knows how to capture and excite an audience with her smoothly transitioned sets and individual groove which separates her from the numerous generic “techno” artists that are seen today. Her stage presence is second to none, bringing you a journey of euphoria and electricity, leaving you questioning what the hell you are listening to!
