Our orange jellyfish totem took a trip to Lärz for our first gig ever, together, as the whole Teppish People crew. Our dream came true: we played at Fusion Festival under the magical tent of the Fer à Coudre crew and their carpet dance floor.

Teppish People - Fusion Festival, Fer à Coudre 2022

It's been a moment since I've uploaded a new Psychedelic Techno mix... and so I present to you the recording of my set from @hidden-beat-ct's event at ColorBox Studios last month. This was an afternoon set, 2nd of the day. I took over from some quality downtempo and so decided to start a little lower than planned to bridge the gap and transition from the downtempo to the dark prog act playing after me (@warren-bami-barnard). The rest of the line up also included the master @evil_oil_man as well as @nordictbk and @mcguire89. All in all a mega day packed full of psychedelic goodness!

Introducing a new ambient/psy-chill/psybient DJ from Japan, this is the "Spring Chill Mix" by JUN.  Jun was deeply impressed by the scene he experienced at "Eclipse 2012 Festival - Australia" and started his DJ career in Tokyo in 2016. While focusing on Chill/Ambient/Downbeat/Psybient/World Music, he weaves delicate and organic sounds freely, trusting his own sensibilities without being confined to any particular style. His unique worldview deeply moves the audience, creating an expansive and floating groove, filling the space with a pleasant atmosphere. He continues to refine his expression with the goal of resonating with the audience and sharing the precious moments of the present.

Für den heutigen Podcast habe ich mir die umwerfende Künstlerin Isabeau Fort eingeladen. Jana hat mich bereits mit ihren ersten Sets vor knapp drei Jahren mit ihrem unglaublichen Musikgefühl begeistert. Daraus ist dann auch sofort ein ganz toller Kontakt entstanden. 

2016 hab ich Jana dann auf unser kleines VFFF Festival eingeladen und nach langem Suchen nach der Party ist sie dann auch mit Ihrer Freundin Lola auf unserer schönen Himmelswiese eingeschwebt. Die zwei haben uns dann am Sonntag ein traumhaftes b2b-Set gespielt. Daraus ist dann das umtriebige Duo Brothers entstanden … ich bin schon etwas stolz ein bisschen meine Finger im Spiel gehabt zu haben ;-)

Janas Sets und Podcast sind immer wieder eine Bereicherung meiner musikalischen Welt. Mal technoid, mal housig verspielt aber dabei doch immer auf der Suche nach Neuem und so wunderschöne Experimentierfreudig.

Doch Jana beschränkt sich nicht nur aufs Auflegen, sondern ist auch mit dem Cellarius Kollektiv aus Marburg unterwegs. Hier entstehen wunderbare Partys und Open Air die mit viel Liebe gestaltet sind. Und auch auf dem spannenden Wilde Möhre Festival waren sie 2017 mit einem eigenen Floor anzutreffen. Jana lebt die Musik mit unglaublich viel Liebe und Herz … und das ist toll.

Für mich hat sie trotz Fieber diesen wunderbaren Podcast eingespielt und lockt damit den Frühling unter Schneedecke hervor. Mit diesen wunderbar housigen Tönen hat der Winter keine Chance mehr. Jana schön das uns die Musik zusammengebracht hat … und nun erst mal gute Besserung. Und meinen Hörern da daraus … zieht eure Tanzschuhe an und lasst uns ein Frühlingstänzchen wagen.

Recording of my Rainbow Serpent set and most enjoyable time to date! Rainbow is easily the best festival with its organic and unique energy. It shares the best of a vibing crowd, crazy colourful visuals, world class stage designs and elite of elite sound systems. Even then there is just the raw connection between dancefloor & DJ, something which words cannot describe and only felt. Thank you to the rainbow team for their efforts and for the great opportunity. Huge thank you to the amazing crowd for filling the dancefloor with the best energy I've ever witnessed. You've made me one very happy and content human. Love Bec <3

The 5th birthday edition of ‘Independance’ live from the radiOzora studio. Hosted by longtime Ozorians and Pumpui residents, Sundi & Tatoo, Fine Beats has been connecting a growing number of underground, deep & progressive music lovers since 2015. More recently they’ve also gone “international”, with shows featuring and co-hosted by the finest soundmakers from Mexico, Russia, Holland, and Brazil, but Fine Beats have also expanded musical borders, embracing minimal and techno genres, besides deep house. The fifth anniversary show also promises to be a milestone celebration not to be missed. Special guests this time include IbogaTech/Iboga’s Human Element and Flying Rhino head/Nano’s James Monro.

Bec's passion for music delves deeply to a neuroscience level with her avid research on music's powerful effects on the brain in neurological conditions and her rehabilitation for people with cognitive and movement disorders.

Bec is constantly pushing the boundaries with her visionary sounds, paving the way for female artists in the underground scene. She lets her music knowledge and over 10 years of experience in the scene do the talking. She really knows how to capture and excite an audience with her smoothly transitioned sets and individual groove which separates her from the numerous generic “techno” artists that are seen today. Her stage presence is second to none, bringing you a journey of euphoria and electricity, leaving you questioning what the hell you are listening to!
