Streaming from deep, considered, thought-provoking songs to light-hearted, catchy tunes, Beck is a challenge to the ordinary…in every way.

As a kid, Beck showed musical promise, and honed her emerging skills using the Suzuki method. Funnily enough though, her main childhood passion was horses. As it was, every four years she would break a limb and head back to the piano! As a teenager, music became a private endeavour, and at 19, she fell in love with an eccentric art-rock band, immersing herself in a scene of poets, performance artists, and musicians. 

"What began as a solitary way to express myself has snowballed into an epic desire to fill the atmosphere with beautiful sounds, lyrics and melodies says Beck. The power of music offers such an unparalleled way to connect. I want to give people a place to reflect, to get in touch with things they may not otherwise, and not just dream about, but to create an inspiring future."

Giving her life to passion, Beck hit Sydney’s song writing scene at 26 where she has frequented multitudes of songwriter stages, artist showcases, and festivals and performed at prominent venues such as Lazy Bones, The Basement, The Factory Theatre and Sydney Metro. 

Yearning to swim in a bigger pond than her former place of residence (Canberra) could offer, Beck has flourished as a writer and performer in Sydney, finding herself at songwriting workshops with master craftsmen like Pat Patterson, whose students include multiple Grammy Award winners John Mayer and Gillian Welch. 

With an astute set of tools shaping her music, Beck continues to bring into existence songs that are intimately inviting, brimming with vulnerability and wit, culled from her own poignant and powerful transformative journey.
Within her rich musical tapestry are jazzy overtones, deft guitar playing, and her soulfully sensual vocals. Her tracks would fit perfectly on playlists featuring Melody Gardot, Kacy Hill, Adele and Tracy Chapman.

Currently, she has released an EP ‘Hurricane’, a single ‘Bluer than the Moon’, with another two singles ready for release and a full album in the works.
Firmly on her creative path, armed with her own studio as well, and with an unlimited palette to create her masterpieces, Beck is optimistic about the future and reflective of her past. "This whole journey has shown me music is what I am here to do – to be a medium for music that transforms people."
