'Beginning the new year in style, Cid Inc’s Replug Records welcomes GMJ and Matter back to the label for a two-track showcase. Based in Melbourne, the Aussie duo have been beloved figures in the global progressive house scene for over a decade. Having forged a distinctive sound which focuses on inventive use of melody and rhythm, the duo has drawn the lines between global dance cultures without adhering to any fixed formula. Whether operating in solo capacity or as a duo, GMJ and Matter have taken their elusive production touch to the industry’s most esteemed imprints. From Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and UK behemoth Anjunadeep, to Australia's long-standing Balance Music and their own burgeoning Meanwhile imprint, it’s GMJ and Matter’s storytelling style that continues to surprise and inspire even the genre’s most discerning trendsetters. Replug has also served as a landing spot for the talented Aussie’s, with the release of Matter’s ‘Satori’ EP marking his label debut in 2017, while GMJ first arrived in 2016 with a contribution to the label’s Replugged, Vol. 2 collection. Now, fresh off their latest Meanwhile vehicle ‘EXT 135’, GMJ and Matter land back on Replug to begin the new year with ‘Metanoia’.  

 As a recent favourite of Replug boss Cid Inc, EP opener and title selection 'Metanoia' finds GMJ and Matter composing with a strong sense of space. Instantly seductive, its looping hypnotism and subtle musicality never fail to command your attention, driving each other into a whirlpool of spiralling emotions, making for a flexible club track that bends between scenes while injecting vibrant energy into the dancefloor. Rich atmospheres, effervescent percussion and dubbed out tones are at a premium across the eight-minute excursion, with each sound being an event in a slowly expanding landscape, zooming out to reveal a world of scale in which depth and contrast coax perfectly with rhythm and melody.  

 Moving forward to selection two, GMJ and Matter masterfully synthesize their talents into one singular meditative vision that is 'In Bloom'. Building with a subdued pulse, its smoky resonance eventually gives way to melodic experimentation, where textural and structural dimensions blanket subterranean wobbles and tightly knit percussion, resulting in a profound mood setting experience. Thematically distinct throughout, the duo’s misty melodies are haunting and highly memorable, ringing out in timeless suspension across a mood lifting break, before segueing into a utopian finale that resonates with a rare combination of hope and reflection. 

 The 'Metanoia' project is a fantastical journey across a vivid electronic cosmos, one where GMJ and Matter carefully balance technical vision, with thought-provoking musicality and elaborate rhythmic sequences, making for a two-track affair that brings us closer to knowing the enigmatic duo, while continuing to live in the mystery of their design. Even by his own high standards, electronic luminary Sasha is in a superb run of form that has already yielded some stellar singles in the last year, both solo and in collaboration with like-minded talents. TheGRAMMY Award-nominated artist is renowned for pushing musical and technological boundaries, as well as for platforming exciting sounds on his Last Night On Earth label. The next release finds him working with Sentre, aka Dave Gardner & Dennis White, who have been electronic mainstays for many years. It was Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune at the time and is one of many gems from these self-confessed studio nerds. 

The release of ‘Glastacy’ also marks a new approach for Sasha and LNOE as they extend their relationship with fansbeyond just the music. For the f irst time, along with the single release, fans will be able to collect and own the single artwork for free. The label has always sought to marry together music and art across its releases and now fans get the chance to own a piece for themselves. Using pioneering technology, those who claim the art will also be able to convert it to a smartphone wallet pass which will bring with it future benefits and surprises from Sasha and LNOE.

'Glastacy' is their latest collaboration, and it works angelic, wordless vocal sounds into heavenly loops that shimmer in and out of focus. Deft hi-hits and a supple bassline bring movement as a lead synth motif rises up out of the mix to bring dramatic tension and take dancers to the stars. It's emotive, hypnotic techno of the highest order, with a spine-tingling breakdown leading towards more trance-inducing musical pleasures. The Intro:Outro Mix is an ambient tool stripped of beats.

Vivrant marks its milestone 50th release with a two-track melodic club behemoth from label head Jeremy Olander, reaffirming his status as a master of evocative, forward-thinking electronic music.

Comprised of lead track “Shedsdrums” followed by “Samus,” the EP is steeped in Jeremy’s unmistakable MO: emotional, melodic, and cinematic. With nods to both contemporary melodic house and old-school progressive, the release is a seamless blend of blissful chord progressions, infectious drumwork, and finely tuned FX detailing—hallmarks of Olander’s production ethos.

“Shedsdrums” is a hypnotic builder, marrying atmospheric textures with driving low-end pressure. The track opens with a subtle tension, slowly revealing layers of percussive intricacy and emotive synth motifs that shimmer just beneath the surface. Jeremy’s deft touch is evident in the pacing with each element being introduced with intention, creating a cinematic sense of space.

In contrast, “Samus” carries a warmer, more buoyant energy. Driven by a confident groove and underscored by lush harmonic swells, the track evolves with purpose, building into a radiant melodic theme that feels like sunrise breaking over a dancefloor. It’s euphoric, yet restrained, striking the balance between the emotional storytelling and dancefloor functionality that defines Jeremy’s sound.

Paul Rose is the man behind Scuba, an alias which has shaped the sound of the European underground for two decades. In its early years, he pioneered a new take on dubstep and then made a subtle shift from bass music into house and techno. Scuba’s ‘Digital Underground’ album in 2023 saw him take things one step further into raved-up hardcore and breakbeat, and his Music Not Diving podcast is a fascinating interview series with plenty of the scene's key players.

Now he debuts on Sasha's label, a fitting pairing as he credits the label boss’s support for his Adrenalin EP in 2011 as having played a key role in his move towards house and techno. Here he showcases his flair for melody across a pair of richly musical and immersive new tracks that land perfectly in time for summer.

The fantastic 'Animatronic' has been an exclusive mystery staple of Scuba sets for a while and is a mid-tempo groover with a meandering lead line that is brought to life with bright, prickly synth modulations. The chunky drums are underpinned by signature bass, and a spine-tingling breakdown has heavenly vocals peaking through the clouds.

The pace picks up on the sleek 'Waterfloor', which is a subtle tribute to Berlin’s recently shuttered but forever legendary Watergate club. It has a calming serenity to its widescreen atmosphere as soft hits, clicks, and melodic droplets pepper the mix. Sleek bass powers the drums, and cosmic pads keep things decidedly heady and doused in emotion.

Italian producer Anthony Mea is one of our main resident artists already 12 years. In his discography he has two albums to date both of which were released on Spring Tube - 'Mea Spell' (2013), and 'Border' (2014). After that Anthony released with us tons of EPs and singles. But only 11 years later we see him with the third album.

The album is titled 'Romance Soul'. It's full of romantic and melodic deep house stuff with that Anthony is known the most. And it's the music we at Spring Tube love so much.

An opening track of the album is "Ginkla" which we already presented you as a single in the beginning of this year. Further we have here whole 9 new Anthony's tracks. Each of them has an own story. But all of them are from one Romance Soul, from the soul of Anthony Mea. For you. With love from Anthony and Spring Tube.
