Maxime Dangles has grown to be a key new artist in the French avant-garde
electronic music community and is creating waves around the globe with his
unabashed approach to proper club techno music. His track Santé (which
translates as - Cheers!)is a highlight on John Digweed's current Structures
Two album, with its jittery tech-beats, joyous hypnotic melodic swing and
well-timed hands-in-the-air moment. Maxime Dangles is an artist buzzing with
creative intention and this new 4-Track Modulation Ep on Bedrock features
yet more amazing music.
From the twisted spiraling climaxes of Astraktif, through the twisted
modulations of Cafetiere,to the soaring acidic energy of Dihaiz and the hook
ridden energy of Infinity, Maxime Dangles cannot fail to impress even the
most tired of ears.
Born in 1985, Maxime discovered the world of nightclubbing at a very young
age. He quickly became an excellent DJ but crucially also learnt how to
create his own music. In 2004, he started to work on remixes and edits
before developing his own musical imprint, which led to releasing tracks
with the famous Kompakt label in 2006. Remixes of Scan X,Miss Kittin & The
Hacker, Simian Mobile Disco, Royksopp, Moby etc have followed.
Maxime has recently developed a live show and his his energy and passion are
now making him rising star of the international electronic scene.

Some things in life cannot be measured by numbers or translated into words. Having the privilege to officially remix a track by Hernan Cattaneo is one of them. Among this select group is the Brazilian producer and multi-instrumentalist BRVNOV, who has just delivered his own interpretation of Love Is Coming Back. The original track, released in February 2023 featuring the Egyptian-Canadian duo Husa & Zeyada, presented Zeyada’s hypnotic vocals — which were preserved and carefully repositioned in this new remix. The remix sets an intrinsically hypnotic mood from the start, guiding the listener through a sensitive and immersive journey. The break, wrapped in melodic pads, creates a moment of absolute trance and seems to suspend time before the drop, which is luminary and expansive. This is BRVNOV’s third release on DOC Records, consolidating not only his place in the label’s catalog but also the trust and respect of Gui Boratto. With impeccable technical polishing and a steadily growing creative signature, BRVNOV shows himself fully in tune with the Progressive House territory and ready to continue pushing its limits.

Now, he returns to Bedrock in the summer of 2012 with the stunning 5-track Hold Up EP.

From the intense, swirling, spiralling climaxes of the title track; through the mind-bending, warped energy of Jarten; the glorious nagging hook of My Boo; Spagetjack’s nod to Giorgio Moroder; to the distorted Detroit attitude of Transparence, this is an EP bursting with hypnotic melodic swing and well-timed hands-in-the-air moments. Break New Soil continue their immensely successful Breaking New Soil series with volume number six, a four track collection featuring new music from, Maxime Dangles, Dosem & Supernova, Per Hammer and Kernel Key. The label's latest gathering of nations sees two label debuts and the return of some our favourite artists. "All of the tracks featured on this collection, as with all of the previous volumes, have been mainstays of my current DJ sets" says label boss Gregor Tresher. The first of the newbies is France's Maxime Dangles with 'Lyoc'. "This track has been my secret weapon for the last few weeks. Absolutely smashing it each and every time I play it" says Gregor. Label fav Dosem, fresh from the successful release of his new artist album, teams up with fellow countryman, Supanova, on yet another melodic, peak-time smash, 'The Good Way.' A fan of Kernel Key's music, Tresher is happy to welcome him aboard with, 'Init', a track that, he says, displays the Italian producer's "signature grooves" and one that has become a staple in his DJ sets. Maxime Dangles has successfully straddled sounds and genres with certain panache. Having signed his first productions to the legendary Kompakt imprint, he was immediately labeled as the new young starlet of the France's electronic 'avant-garde' scene. But Maxime's music stretches much further and sees him confidently releasing work with a variation of labels. His techier 'big room' sound has seen him feature his music on Affin, Bedrock, Break New Soil and Skryptom among others.

Today Maxime joins the Herzblut family for a special debut release that has already been a staple in the sets of label boss Stephan Bodzin. The four track Oralipse EP is a collection aimed squarely at the biggest floors and a release that again highlights just how comfortable and creative the Frenchman is when producing energetic peaktime material.
