Omid 16B's SexOnWax imprint returns with the 'Indian Ocean EP' - both his edit and prolific artist Andy Slate's original mean business from the off, with tribalesque percussion communicating incessantly, summoning the Sun to rise again 'What You Need' lives up to its name, stripping the audio right back to the essentials, the intoxicated layers of question-and-answer rhythmic choreography segueing elegantly into the final cut on the EP, DIRTYHERTZ's take on 'Indian Ocean', a more uptempo envisioning of the track, replete with swirling sawtooth synth stabs and an almost sonar-like pulse throughout
